I literally had my hands over my eyes and was peeking out of them during the entire part with the Boys and girls club. She was sooooo condescending and it was painful to see. I thought all of those kids were looking at her like "who the heck are you and would you go away". I think the only thing she did was manage to lower their self esteem. It was awful!!

Not too much drama on tonights episode. I thought "The Countess'" trip to the Boys & Girls club was interesting. Especially when she told the 10 year old she was fat. You could almost see "The Countess'" brain working. As the little girl said she wanted to be a model. "The Countess" asks how tall she is and how old is she and tells her she has a lot of time to grow. Then you could almost see her wheels turning and I just sat there waiting for it, waiting for it...and Wham! She tells her "Oh, losing weight is easy" And she was there to help them build there self esteem?!? What a whack job!

Man, I was so embarrassed for her. I saw when she starting to drink her coffee or whatever that she was going to say something and I tell ya, I was cringing. I was like "No, no, no, please don't..." and there she went. It was a MESS.

Last night with Luann made me so annoyed!

How nice to tell the girl she needs to lose weight. What a jerk. Then she is going on and on about how she came from being "just" and American Idian and now she is a Countess. So you never know how far life will take you. Please! She acts like she was living in a teepee on a reservation washing the animal skins and the Count came in and took her away from it all to become Countess Luann- teacher of bad manners. She treated those kids like they were the lowest of low and that just maybe they might become something.
She's a jerk.

Luann should have been encouraging those girls to work hard to achieve their dreams. Instead she was like "Look at me. I married a Count." Not many people will do that.

OMG it really amazes me the things these women say. To tell a young healthy beautiful girl that she is fat and can lose weight to be a model is so bad, there are just no words. She made a complete and total fool of herself, hurt the girls feelings and she is the person writing a book on etiquette? That's etiquette? are you kidding me. I loved Simon going to play tennis, so funny, loved it bc I really don't like Ramona or her husband either, what a whiny little man he is. I wish they won, that would have been so cool but it was so funny just to bust Ramona and her husband's chops. And her husband stinks at tennis too, she was bragging about him being a professional player, yeah right.
I have to give Simon points for being a good sport.

So much for all the bragging about being a Countess! I know she will keep her title but it isn't the same as working hard and earning something on her own. That is what she should have encouraged those girls to do.

I thought the girl may have said something about wanting to lose weight, bit NOOOOOO Luann just brought it up.

We don't know what actually transpired...only what they show us through editing. That conversation may have gone on a while, and that girl might have brought up needing to lose weight.

Again, we don't ever see the whole story. Not saying that I was completely comfortable with everything Luann said (I'm frequently not comfortable with things most of them say!), but it MIGHT not have been as bad as it sounded standing alone. And honestly...the young "model" was cute and sweet, but I wouldn't look at her and label her "healthy".

Kelly seemed nicer this week, but a bit stuck on herself and "Max"

Ramona just whined the entire tennis match - What a bore she is! She and Mario are two peas in a pod. I was hoping Jill and Simon would give them a real run for their money on the court.

At least LuAnn tries.
I am getting really sick and tired of Bethanny. She exhausts me just watching her with all her nervous energy.

According to my TIVO, next weeks episode is "Wife in the Fast Lane". Ramona throws a party to show off her skin care line; LuAnn meets with her writer; Kelly takes a trip to Los Angeles to meet with a designer about her jewelry line; Simon plans something special for Alex.

OMG - I just saw the preview for NJ Housewife's, I am 45 and lived in NJ my whole life and I have never known any like that!

I kept looking at Dina thinking where did I see her before. They had a show on WE Platinum Weddings did a show on her wedding.

It will be interesting to watch to see the places I know. I have been to the Brownstone a couple of times.

And the divorced one, saying she needs someone to take care of her and her kids. How about her taking care of them!

That one who is married to the owner of the Brownstone sure thought pretty highly of herself. Umm...you own a banquet hall...get over yourself. Based on some of the previews it sounds like they may be a bit "connected".

Is that the one that was on the WE weddings? If so then her husband couldn't appear to be less interested in her if he tried. It was such a sad show. Everytime she was around he looked uneasy and would laugh and try to get rid of her. I actually felt bad for her.
Maybe we can send LuAnn over there to teach them manners?

The WE Wedding was with Nina, she is married to the brother of the owner of the Brownstone, I thought he was also owner.
