Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween DIS Party! DISney Princesses Party with Style! *DONE*

Love your report and all the great photos! Yeah, the rain put a bit of a damper on things. It was a bit crazy just after the ride and we didn't know what the plan was, or if there was one. We had a few people say goodbye to us so we tried to say our goodbyes to everyone else before we headed off on our way. Camille and Lesley had invited us to ride the HM again but there were still so many places in the park we hadn't visited yet so we went off to meet Buzz Lightyear instead :)

We were all excited because the party was starting, so we began to walk to our next adventure. I know I would have loved to say my proper good-byes! :grouphug: I was so glad that I got to spend our DIS Dinner & our Haunted Mansion ride with them!

I guess it was just us five DISney Princesses now! We were hoping we'd run into everyone again throughout the evening and we were all a bit disappointed that we couldn't spend more time with everyone.

It was going to be the DISney Princesses taking on the Magic Kingdom! princess:

Awww, Lindsey! :hug: Yes, I was very happy to finally meet you!!! Brenna was looking forward to handing out her DIS friendship bracelets to everyone - it was one of the highlights of our trip! ::yes:: I'm really sorry that we didn't have more time together after our Haunted Mansion ride. We hung back a few minutes to take some pictures in front of the Haunted Mansion, and when we were done, I didn't know which way everyone went. It was hard to see in the rain - that's when we decided to try and exchange our MNSSHP tickets for another night. We had all been up since 4am (it was our travel day), and the rain was just too much for us. :sad2:

I know we'll be meeting you again someday!!! :goodvibes

Great update as ususal....I can't wait to see the new additions to the Haunted Mansion :hmghost:

I have a question........was that ghostly woman a CM or a party guest???? Wow is she spooky.

That is too funny! :rotfl: Yup, I took the pictures of the decorations on Main Street when we were leaving the MK on Sept. 21 before the party at 7:00 pm. That's so neat! :goodvibes

Fantasyland






Our first stop for the DISney Princesses was Fantasyland, of course! ;)

We saw Cinderella's beautiful coach and knew it would make a great DISney Princess photo! princess: The line wasn't very long, but as soon as it was our turn it started to pour.

The next thing we saw was the Photopass photographer and the other CM running off with the camera. They didn't say a word to any of us in line and just left! :confused3 We didn't know what was going on! Yes, it was raining, but does that give you the excuse to just run off and not inform the guests of what's going on? :confused:

We were all shocked and a bit irritated. Luckily, a very nice woman behind us said she would snap the photos for us. We had all our rain gear, so we did our best to look like royalty in that situation. :rotfl2:

The rain was not stopping and it was not even slowing-up, so we decided we'd hide out for awhile and that meant a stop at It's a Small World!

Then, we made our way over to the "Get Up & BOOgie Dance Party!"

We saw Chip 'n Dale showing off their dance skills with the little kids. We enjoyed the music and we got to stay out of the rain for a little bit. We turned around to make our exit and then all seven dwarfs appeared! I couldn't believe they were all out there on the dance floor! :eek: It was quite a sight to see and we had to stay now!

We continued through Fantasyland and we saw Tigger & Piglet outside near the Winnie the Pooh ride, so we decided we had to go see them. As soon as we got in line, they told us they would be leaving and Pooh and Eeyore would be out soon. pooh: I was a little upset because I still have never met Piglet! :eek: But, then I saw Eeyore in his adorable clown costume! :goodvibes He looked so cute with his red clown nose!

You can't go to Fantasyland without going on the Tea Cups! I thought it would be so much fun to go on this ride with everyone! :yay:

The rain had really picked up now and we even saw some lightning, while we were spinning around. We didn't pay much attention to it, since we were now dizzy and could barely walk straight. :rotfl:

I knew you guys had to be exhausted that night! I know you had a busy travel day.
We all were wondering what happened to you, since we know you wouldn't have left.
I know I am so glad to hear that you were able to exchange tickets for another night. :)
The rain was such a bummer and I can't imagine trying to party after a long day of traveling.
I would have been warm and snug in that comfortable Contemporary bed as soon as I go there! :rotfl:

You will love the updated Haunted Mansion! It's fantastic! :thumbsup2

We are all pretty sure she was a CM. I had never seen her before, but she was standing out front of the Haunted Mansion line area to the side. She was just staring at everyone and she was all by herself. She was very creepy and quite a surprise to all of us! :eek:

We made our way over to Toon Town and it was not very crowded at all. The rain was scaring everyone away. We made our first stop at Minnie's house and I just love the new decorations this year on the houses. They added a lot more detail and they were really cute!

The only bad part was Mickey & Minnie were not out at their homes because of the rain. :sad2: The characters were all hiding out in the tent area because of the rain, which was a good thing for us because that meant we also didn't have to be outside. ;) There were three separate lines for different characters, so we decided we'd go mingle with our fellow Disney Princesses first. princess:

Of course, where there are Princesses, there are ugly step-sisters! :laughing:

Our greatest character interaction was with Alice and the Walrus! Megan went to get a picture with Alice and she quickly noticed Megan's t-shirt, which is the funny Disney Princess photo with Princess Aurora holding Alice in a headlock and giving her a noogie. :rotfl2:

Alice put her hands on her hips and said, "That's not very nice!" Then, she noticed we all had on the same shirts and she looked at us, "They are all wearing those shirts!" The Walrus thought it was hilarious and was bending over laughing, which was not making Alice happy. :rotfl:

It was a great moment!

Not really, but they did notice the hair!

Alice and the Walrus were a hoot. The Walrus gave us all a high five and Alice had a whole foot stomping hands on the hips moment. Very funny.
