WOC dessert party table selection timing

What time would you recommend I line up to choose my table for the 9:00 show. And, what time do they actually begin to let you schedule for the first show?

We lined up at 6:45 and were 2nd or 3rd in line. After we selected our seats, we had time to go on more rides.

I agree. We got there around 6:45 and there were 3 families ahead of us. All 3 requested table 27
