I finished the Myth quest!!!:cool1:

The tower is only 3 levels.
Fire/Fire
Myth/Fire
Myth/ Myth

After that it's just some running around!

The spell is pretty cool but for all that work and being 7 pips, I wish it did more damage. My Triton, from my crown clothes does much more for 6 pips! Still, it's pretty cool!

Oh good! Thanks for the info! I haven't been back in there but once, got killed on third street person, so that won't be quite as bad as I feared. lol

Oh, I don't think has been mentioned yet. I haven't looked on the live game, but the test server has "Eggbert" in WC, by the shops, selling Easter items.

So, I am just about done with every quest that you can do without paying for anything other than killing so many of this undead and so many that golems for badges. I am in love with this game. I wish that I had found it sooner when it was still testing. I seem to keep creating people of the Ice discipline, Thermatogauge?!?!

Does anyone have any suggestions on the actual subscriptions? What's the better way to go?

I was just wondering if you need to be a certain level to duel Nightshade? cause don't you have to beat him to get into Nightside?

I think the best deal is the $60-a-year Special they have run a few times now. It allows you to have up to 6 wizards and access to all current (and future) worlds for a year. Unfortunately, the most recent promotion just ended, so it may be several months before they run it again.

You can also purchase Crowns and use them to unlock areas of the game as you progress. Though this plan comes out higher than the $60/year deal, it has some advantages too. For example, once an area is unlocked, it will remained unlocked for you forever. So you could take extended breaks from the game without losing any time on your subscription. And if, years from now, you decide to create a new wizard, all your unlocked areas should still be available to you without having to re-subscribe.

It's "Thaumaturge". :wizard:

Ice is an awesome school. Since beta, I've played 3 different Ice Wizards, and currently have an Ice/Storm combo. He combines Ice's high health with Storm's high damage and is a real little powerhouse.

It's great trying out the different schools/spells, however. Though 95% of the tasks are the same, the game really plays differently depending on the type of wizard you are.

Thank you! Your information has been most helpful. After my vacation later this month, I plan on investing in a subscription. Until then, I will be knocking off the undead as much as possible in my quest for higher experience levels.

The level 48 spell quests have gone live. I'm assuming you can now buy the Easter items from Egbert in WC shopping area. They do tend run a bit late with the holidays. LOL!

Hey everybody! My main character is myth and I've got a tip for completing the level 48 spell. You don't have to do all the street fights in Labyrinth (sp). I'm probably not using the correct names here, but bear with me. Defeat the Silver Sentinel to get the gate key that opens up the bridge in the lava area. You'll have the quests on your quest log to do the three street fights, but you don't have to do them. I just ran directly to the spear gate, and it opened. Then proceed to the three level tower to get the dog collars.

Get out, really? I did the Labyrinth by myself for 3 hours because they just would not die. :rotfl2: I was able to stop after the gate key task because I found my "street boss" there after defeating Paladin.

At least I got a couple of swords out of the deal. ;)

Oh and my new satyr's name? Queen Chase. I find this hilarious and won't change his name.

I tried that in the test server and it didn't work. Maybe they changed it after all the complaints! I'll have to check it out!:)

I tried this last night for my Life wizard and couldn't get the spear gate to open without doing most of the instance. I was just about done with one of the street battles when someone join my group causing another enemy to join. I started to get mad but then realized it was someone on my friends list who I knew could blow them away in a hurry which he did. Where was he about an hour earlier???

Unless they had changed it in the past two days, it didn't work for my myth character the other day. :) After I came out of the tower with the Silver Sentinel, I did run over there for some health wisps. And, it sure didn't open for me! lol Maybe they listened to some of the complaints from people? ;)

(That or I didn't bribe someone enough! rofl)

I just tried it again. It didn't work for me either. Maybe the experience is so traumatic that these other people block it from their memories and convince themselves they didn't have to do the street fights.:confused3

I really, really don't know what is happening here. :confused3 The spear gate opened for me without me having to fight Andor Bristleback, Zora Steelwielder, and Devora Shadowcrown. These are the three people I refer to as the "street fights." The part of the quest I skipped is called "Prison Break." Are these the people you are having to fight?

I just went back and retracked my steps in the Labyrinth to make sure I recalled it all correctly. After getting the bridge key from Silver Sentinel, talking to Dmitri Ironchains again, using the key on the east bridge pedestal, running across the lava, using the key on the central bridge pedestal, running across the lava again, I ran directly to the spear gate. When I had the level 48 quest, the spear gate opened for me, then I went to the three-level tower to get the dog collars.

Just to add, I was already a grandmaster and had completed all of Dragonspyre before I got the level 48 quest. Maybe that makes the difference?

Stranger and stranger! :rotfl2: I am so curious now, I just sent in a question about this to W101 on their contact us page. I'll let you all know what they say if they respond.

Yes, those are the same street fights I was referring to. I'm a Grand Master as well, everything is done. The gate does not open for me before I do the street fights. :sad1: I reeaaallly do not want to do them again.

Same here, I had to do the street battles. I could not open the gate without them.

For anyone having to do the Plague Oni battle, you no longer have to light the shrines. I don't know if that was ever mentioned before, but it cuts out a big chunk from that instance. :)

Wow thanks, that is very good news. I have a secondary wizard almost at that instance. :goodvibes

Quick question for those that have made it through.

In the forum, where you have to find Father Drake? Where is he? I have nothing lighted up nor does the quest helper help. Any suggestions?

I hope i remember correctly, I believe your supposed to go see Greyscale. I have circled his location in red on the map below:

Edit: I confirm, this is the right place. Be careful, he is well protected...
