My son calls my sil "Auntie Ginger" her real name is Ann but for some strange reason he started calling her Ginger.

My parents are "Grammee and Granddee". When my sister was younger she called my dad "Dee". When he became a grandparent he wanted to be "Grand~Dee". It worked!

one side is very french so I am ma tante.......on my other siblings kids call me auntie marie......then some of them just call me aunt.....and then the left overs call me auntie ree.......my grankids call me gramma.....and my hubby is papa.......cause we would say.....say grandpa.....and they would hear the last sylable and say papa....so that is cute......I have six brothers and sisters.......

My nieces and nephews call me aunt Shannon. I wish they'd drop the aunt title though. My SO's nieces and nephews call me Shannon or hey.;)

:D

My nephew, who's 3, calls me Uncle Bobo. My BIL calls me Bobo and the name has stuck. I don't mind it at all. My other nephew, who's almost 5 months, will surely call me Uncle Bobo, too. As long as my girlfriend calls me by my regular name, I'll be fine.

One of my nephews calls me Aunt Tina. My other nephew is autistic, so I'll take whatever he wants to call me and go with it!::yes::

I have some older neices and nephews that just call me Dorothy. The others call me Aunt Dorothy. ONE of them calls me Aunt Doc. My kids call my Mom DeeDee. She was a very frequent visitor and DS just started calling her that when he was very small. She loves it. My sister's kid's call her DeeDee as well.

My nieces and nephews have several that they call me by: Aunt Amanda, Aunt Mandy or Aunt My. Grandparents are called Nene and Papa.

They all call me Aunt Annie. One nephew calls my DH "Uncle KiKi-head Jim" Son't know why--he blurted it out when he was about two, and it stuck LOL!

Anne

:sunny: My grandson calls me Nanny and my nieces and nephews have all changed from Aunt Leslie to Nanny ,even my mom will call me Nanny once in a while,i love it:sunny: I also have a 6 foot tall nephew that we have always called Bitsey, one of my younger nieces had trouble with Christopher and called him Bitsey and it has stuck, now he has a little tiny daughter and we call her" itsey bitsey".I think my little niece was trying to say Chrissy and it came out Bitsey.

isn't it fun to hear all these terms of endearment.

my nieces and nephews call me zia (we're very italian)
my parents go by noni and nonno

my husband's family calls me auntie and his parents go by nanny and papa.

I'm called Auntie Katie or Aunt Katie, but that's not the good one...

My MIL was a young grandmother (49) so "grandma" just wouldn't do. She chose what one of her elderly neighbors is called by her grandkids....BABE!! So all her grandkids call her Babe, as do her 2 sons, their wives (me being one), and even her sister has gotten in the act. We all love it and it fits her to a T. She's very cute and bubbly, and definitely not a "Grandma". She even loves the movie "Babe:""

Her sister Ann, the grandkids' great aunt, is called "Grauntie Ann" and her DH is "Gruncle Gil". Even though she now has grandkids of her own, she's still "Grauntie Ann" to everyone :)

My mom, also a young grandmother (50) didn't want to be Grandma, so she's Gramma. To me, it sounds the same, but it was important to her, so Gramma she is :)

I am plain old Aunt. My MIL is YaYa to her gradchildren and FIL is PopPop. My mom was MomMom and Dad is Papah. My ex in-laws were Grandmother and "Sir".

I am Auntie Vee (actually started by a friend who heard it on the tv show Eight is Enough) I have one niece.

My parents are Grammy(was to be Grandmommy, but 1st born changed) and Granddaddy (now called Grandsladdy, or grandslads made up by my 3rd)

My mil was Nanny, my fil is Poppy

Vivienne

They call me Auntie Patty, as do many of their friends with whom I've become close.

Very dear friends of ours have children who are like surrogate nieces and nephews.. They call me Pabby.

Dh is from the Philippines so his parents are Lola and Lolo. We call Dh's uncle Unk or Grunk (Grampa Unk).

His brothers are Tito Rino and Tito Marky..and SIL is Tita Melissa. I am the only one that wants to be called Aunt. (NOT pronounced ant!!!)

My mother is Nana, my stepfather is Gramps (better known as crazy gramps) and my father is Pop.

My Aunts and Uncles always are given their formal titles (even though one is only 7 years older then me. Those cousins that didnt use the formal titles were considered irreverent and there were very few of us.

Something that DH's family does...they call older siblings Kuya and older sisters Ate. But older cousins get called this as well, so DH's older cousin is older then me by 2 years..he gets called Kuya Robert. And DH's younger cousins call me Ate. Do any of your family's call older siblings a different name...one that you could actually write!LOL!

Nieces and nephews all call me Gail. I was 11 when the first one was born, and didn't want anyone calling me Aunt...my ex-SIL knew I HATED it, and kept calling me AUNTIE Gail.... :p

My nieces just call me Auntie. And my parents are just plain old Grandma and Grandpa. My nieces' other grandparents are Oma and Opa.

I was 10 when I became an aunt and they have always called me Robin. My son, however, calls my oldest sister Meema and my middle sister Auntie.

I'm Aunt Wiz, because my three year old nephew Chase can't say his L's yet. And his two year old brother Camden picked it up, so I am Aunt Wiz to him too. I will probably be Aunt Wiz for their baby brother as well. I think it is cute.
My DH is Uncle Jason, they say his name just fine. :)

My kids call my parents Lala and Papa.
Lala came about because my mom used to sing to my son and she would forget the words in songs. She would substitute "la la la la la" whenever she forgot the words, and as soon as Nethaniel could talk he was calling her Lala! ;)
