Hi everyone,

I’ve not seen a circus del Sol show before and have seen that they have one in Disney springs and I’m a bit tempted to book as it’s based on the old animation style. I was curious about what your experience was like and if it was worth seeing? I’ve seen some reviews saying it’s not the best they’ve done but I wouldn’t have anything to compare it to. Also how would the view be by sitting near the back? As they seem to be the cheaper tickets.

Thanks!

Our family enjoyed it but we also had nothing to compare it to. I can’t answer your question about the view though as we were in the third row.

We enjoyed it very much. We had also seen La Nouba back in the day, but it was a long time ago so don’t remember enough to compare but both were amazing shows. We haven’t seen any other Cirque shows, though. Both times we sat in the middle tier and the view was great, I think the view from higher would also be good - there really doesn’t seem to be a bad place to sit. I’d definitely recommend it!

Loved it, I am a big fan of Cirque shows in general. There really aren’t any bad seats because the arena was built just for Cirque.

We enjoyed Drawn to Life too, sitting near the back. I saw La Nouba once and Beatles Love three times. Due to my sister's generosity (and the fact that she never recovered from Beatlemania), I saw Beatles Love once from toward the back and the very next night from directly next to the stage, and I preferred the view from the back. There's frequently so much going on that it's hard to keep up if you're right there next to just one piece of the action.

Thank you, I did think that would be the case from sitting at the back that’s good to know.

That’s great to hear thanks. I think I have to persuaded myself to go and book it and do something different.

We have seen probably about 6-8 Cirque de Soleil shows, Drawn to Life is toward the bottom of my list.
It wasn't bad, but the acrobats were not nearly as good as the other shows we've seen. For lack of better words, they were a a bit boring to us. I am not sure if all the showings are the same, or it's just that day that show we watched? If you're never seen any Cirque shows before, I think you'll enjoy it. Matinee shows on a weekday is pretty cheap. We always sit near the top as all cirque shows can have a lot going on at the same time on stage, so sitting lower can be challenging to see everything that's happening.

We have seen Drawn to Life twice and have enjoyed it very much, will say we loved La Nuba better but still was worth the price IMO Also, seats toward the back offer a better view of the entirety of the show due to so much happening!

We've done many of the Cirque shows - big fans. Drawn To Life is not one we'll rush back to see again. It was decent and entertaining, and I'd never recommend anyone avoid it. But for us, it wasn't nearly as good as most of the other Cirque shows we've seen - many of them more than once. We liked La Nouba much more, but we also understand the reasons they needed to update the show at Disney Springs with something new.
