For reference, here's one set from NB from back in the day, don't think I ever saw these. I think I had seen one themed around a Little Mermaid colorway, it was subtle though.

Yeah, good save!! Those shoes are super cute!! I am excited to see what they do with you guys and then try and one pair for myself during wine and dine.

I wish they would just... show us the shoes. But I guess it's easier to send them to influencers to make their own videos rather than just post their own promotional images?

It's gonna be a cluster if we don't even know what the shoes LOOK like until we get inside the arena.

On a personal level, I don't want to deal with the chaos that will ensue for Platinum to even get NEAR them if nobody's seen them yet. Bonus, I may have my pick of whatever other hot merch there is?

Yeah, I was planning to go to the Expo on Saturday just to shop at the vendors, but now we have plans that day (and Friday) so I have to take the afternoon off and go Thursday. I wasn't planning to get any official merch, so it would be great to know whether I want the shoes beforehand or not!

I love Brooks and will be rocking my Glycerins at the 10k. I doubt I’d buy any Disney themed shoes and can’t imagine my wife would either. I’ll show her these screenshots though.

I did the ten miler in 2023 and flew in on Friday. I was in and almost out of the expo, with a quick stop to look at the merchandise. I was able to get two shirts, and it was still my fastest time at a Disney expo.

I’m a big fan of Brooks but I hate the idea of trying on shoes first before being able to get into the merchandise area. Sometimes every minute counts when you’re shopping in there! I have a pair of Glycerins for running and Ghosts for every day wear, but I need to look at exactly which models they are. I wish they’d just release them already so I can decide if they’re even worth thinking about!

I just want to pick up my pins and hopefully snag my magnets and shoe ornament and really don’t want to have to double back to the expo later in the weekend

Would be surprised if it lasts anything over a minute

Also really hoping Brooks really brought enough to match demand. I have a second chance for them at Halloween but they better realize how much pent up demand they have here. Cause if we have a sell out of most things before gen merch hits the floor then I’m going to be a not happy camper

Thanks all for posting these shoes. I'm probably safe from Minnie red as well, though never say never. Not that I'm even going to Springtime, I'll live through this forum If there is a purple I will pay whatever I have to though. I don't have any Ghost 16s as I'm just waiting for the 17s at this point, but I did have to size up again in the 16s compared to the 15s. And I had to size up in the 15s compared to the 14s. A trend, I think!

Maybe I will be brining my extra hydration bottle for the 5k and 10k instead of just the ten miler. Even with the races being in the morning, I know the heat will catch up to me. Maybe I’ll start hydrating now…

Edit that is this is 5K day! MW is throwing me off. But still a hot temp during the day. Make sure you hydrate early and often!

FWIW and to hopefully reduce panic… I’m not seeing any local to WDW forecasts with Feels Likes over 100º. Maaaaybe if one were standing in direct, full sun, surrounded by hot pavement, sheltered from even the slightest breeze. But we don’t typically see heat indexes into the 110s until summer.

What IS being forecast locally are highs around 90º and Feels Likes around 90º. That’s due to low humidity, which is also causing fire warnings across west-central FL. And the high temps aren’t posting until later afternoons, lasting a couple hours, tops. This is not FL summer, by any stretch, though it will certainly feel warm in the afternoons, especially in the sun. Sunscreen and shade are your friends!

Also a gentle reminder that overhydrating with water is a real bad idea. If you’re going to be outside sweating a lot during your days, electrolyte replacement would be a real good idea.
