Is this a place you can just go for drinks and sit and enjoy?
Yes and there is seating at the bar, and at tables overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon. Is this a place you can just go for drinks and sit and enjoy?
It’s probably too early to know, but I’ll be down in March for a short trip and spending one of my days at Magic Kingdom(staying at BWV). If I wanted to take a break from the park midday, can I just show up here and do we know if there are long waits?
Or do you need to go on MDE and put your name down for a same-day time like they do for Nomad Lounge at MK?
Perfect, thanks. Yes, the walk-up waitlist was the term I couldn’t rememberYou can go in the app and it’ll show the estimated wait, but I often find with Disney restaurants it’s wildly high, although YMMV.
You can join the wait list from the app, but it’s location based and you need to be pretty darn close to the Tower for it to work.
So far overcrowding/really long waits don’t seem to widely reported, but it’s still early and we’ll have to see how things ebb/flow over the seasons.
I’ll be interested to see how the waitlist works. We’ll be at Poly CL in the fall and I am thinking of eating there on our check-in day for an easy dinner. It would be perfect if we could join the waitlist from our room. We did the Beaches and Cream waitlist from YC and it worked well, but that was probably closer? You can go in the app and it’ll show the estimated wait, but I often find with Disney restaurants it’s wildly high, although YMMV.

We jumped on the waitlist from our room on the 3rd floor of the tower.Need more reports of how it’s working/if it’s changed, but my experience a few weeks ago - I was at the Barefoot Pool Bar ant the Lava Pool and it still said I was too far away, which I thought was odd. The next time I tried I was physically in the building and that worked. I meant to do more testing around Poly grounds when I was there but ran out of time.
Anybody know if you can order drinks to go from their bar and take them to the pool? From what I can tell the new tower pool doesn't have it's own bar, but it seems strange to me that there would be no bar option for that pool.
Thanks!Yes, there is a walk up to go line by the entrance closest to the pool. This is meant to be the pool bar or for strolling drinks in general (similar to Geyser Point at WL).
I am going to Wailulu Bar & Grill with a picky eater. Does anybody have experience if they can accommodate that? Otherwise I would consider going to a place that has regular burgers ...
It would certainly depend on just what the picky eater will eat but all the Disney restaurants are very good at accommodating requests. If they have the supplies on hand you can likely get it.I am going to Wailulu Bar & Grill with a picky eater. Does anybody have experience if they can accommodate that? Getting the burger with toppings removed or on the side would be the easy option for picky eaters.I am going to Wailulu Bar & Grill with a picky eater. Does anybody have experience if they can accommodate that? Otherwise I would consider going to a place that has regular burgers ...
Thanks, that is very helpful! We ate there in February and my wife got the burger with the extra stuff on the side and it was very good without all that, they were happy to modify it. One of the best burgers at WDW.

They were just regular fries when my daughter got them a few days agoOn the topic of picky eaters, does anyone know if you can order regular fries here instead of sweet potato fries? I see just "fries" on the kids menu but I don't know what that means exactly.
