I saw this notification about Whispering Canyon. So bummed. We will be there during that time and it's one of my husband's favorite restaurants.

From May 12 through May 21, Whispering Canyon Café at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will close for planned maintenance. All other food locations, including the Territory Lounge, Roaring Forks, Geyser Point Bar & Grill, and Story Book Dining at Artist Pointe, will remain open.

That stinks!

There are three areas at the Lodge that have gas grills (one of which is in your portrayal above), and they are for anyone staying in any room, not just BRV. First come, first served.

Morning, Groupies, and welcome to the weekend! If you're fans of March Madness, this is a great time for you. If you're more like me, then you're counting down the days to the Masters, then the other majors in golf, and then football in the fall.

We're heading to Kidani, too. . .in June. However, we did take a trip to Jamaica last week and the weather was perfect. Here's what we did there:
- lay in the sun
- eat
- drink
Repeat.

What a marvelous time it was, too, with darn near perfect weather.

What is the most convenient grocery store between MCO and VWL? We will be renting a car after we arrive at MCO and would like to stop somewhere before we get to the resort. Thanks!

We prefer the Publix groceries, of which there are many locations. What I do is Google Map our route from MCO to our resort (we prefer to avoid I-4 so take 417, but you might prefer what I call the northern route, 528 to I-4), then search for Publix along our route.

Just off the 417 is one in Hunters Creek. I know there’s one along the northern route that’s easy to get to and from, but I can’t remember where it is right now.
