I can see the tickets in my account. They show the confirmation number, but no QR or bar code. Once we arrive at the hotel, I'll ask them to print the physical tickets. Are we supposed to receive actual tickets for this event? I got an email confirmation, but no tickets. Nothing by email and the only thing in my wallet is my AP.
I contacted guest services and was told that the tickets are linked to my AP, so they will just need to scan my pass when I arrive. It’s odd that some people are getting tickets and others aren’t.I can see the tickets in my account. They show the confirmation number, but no QR or bar code. That is a possibility. Maybe their technology is more advanced than we believe. Is there any possibility those of us without barcodes (both my single day Epic Universe tickets don't have them) are people who Universal has facial recognition on file?
Yeah - I suspect it will be limited at least for the first group through the 8th - I've heard 30% capacity thrown around - not that anyone really knows.FWIW….I spoke to UO ticket agent yesterday re: preview tickets for UO hotel guests. She cautioned that she thinks definite plan is to be conservative with preview attendance to help avoid issues and ease into full operation on May 22. Therefore she said that Guests should not assume that they will actually be able to purchase a preview ticket. She thought those staying longer would probably have greater likelihood compared to those only staying a night or two (just more options). Still sounds like first come first serve when ticket booths in hotels open at 7am in morning. A bit fuzzy about whether you could say buy tickets for day three of your stay on the morning of your arrival day. I predict morning chaos but we’ll see. Perhaps things also evolve over the preview period.
I know that they have my face on file from my AP that is expired, but all my tickets still have QR codes. That is a possibility. Maybe their technology is more advanced than we believe.
I also got the 3-day packages last October because we wanted a guaranteed spot on the grand opening. These, however, all have a QR code.
I don't think anyone has a clue what the lines will be like for Epic Universe. Until it's fully open for a little while it's all guesswork. How many rides can I expect to go on if I stay at Cabana Bay and NOT get Express Passes? I envision standing in line all day mid-week in August.
Please Help!!!
for all 3 parks, 1 park per day.
I ended up changing my email address with them and that worked for me.they never did get my AP to work to allow me to buy tickets online - and that went on for weeks.
Me, my husband and 2 of our children have annual passes. All of our annual passes have have a qr code. None of our 1 day epic passes have a qr code (april 17, may 27 and 29th. My 2 year old that turns 3 at the end of the month does not have an annual pass (this created spending a lot more on his tickets) we ended up buying him 2 three day tickets to get him 2 days of epic at the end of May. (I wish we could have bought him an ap and single epic tickets but that that wasn't happening due to the circumstances. His 3 day ticket has the qr code. We have had our faces scanned but I wonder if the 1 day passes are linked to the ap the same way that magic bands works for disney and their park tickets.Hmm. My 2 - 1 day Epic EPs have QR codes, while the tickets themselves don't, it's a grayed out box behind a little blue ticket picture. (These are December tickets I bought when they had the deal for AP holders, my AP has expired but I may get a new one in December)

Oh no, May 3rd is not a random day. The following day, May 4th, is a biggie Star Wars celebration at HS. We chose our Epic preview day around that weekend so we can also attend the SW festivity. My cousin looks forward to eating a porg, if it's even offered.Seems like a random one to sell out. I know it's a Saturday but you'd think first weekend would
I was told by a TM that you could purchase for ANY day during your stay if they're available.FWIW….I spoke to UO ticket agent yesterday re: preview tickets for UO hotel guests. I suspect many of the Universal AP members are also Disney fans, which explains why that particular day is sold out.
