Im headed to Volcano Bay in April, haven't been there in 3 years. Ive booked a Cabana and my only option was a first level one, no standalone ( Private) ones were available. Does anyone know of a Map that shows which cabanas are the 2 story ones?

You might be able to piece that together with this video. I just watched it yesterday. Could mark on a map while watching him walk around.

THANK YOU!! This was super helpful, showed which ones are upper/lower, which had elevators, which were more secluded and which were more hectic.

Good good! I’m looking to possibly do this for a June trip. Haven’t been before. Have fun!

This video was so helpful! We just booked an upper cabana. I wanted to request a section, but the team member said we couldn’t...it’s ok, our first trip to Volcano Bay so we’re going to be happy with whatever we get ☺️

I also reserved a cabana for my April trip and was told I could not choose location. I was able to request lower, but not the specific one. Im sure they are all fantastic!!

Make sure you get to Volcano bay at least 15 minutes before the park opens. In order to get your cabana you have to go to the hut (forget the name - maybe concierge services??) and it is there that you get to pick your cabana - it is first come, first serve. This line is SLOW!! I got there right at opening and had to wait an hour to get my cabana. So make sure you get there well before the park opens and that way you can also take advantage of really short lines (or no lines) for the more popular slides/rides.

I have rented a cabana 5 times at VB. I was pretty close to the front of the line at the hut in March...waited about 15 minutes (not everyone there is for a cabana, they also service preferred seating). I asked for 2 different cabana numbers and i was told they were preassigned. So i think the gag is to tell people when they reserve, it's "first come, first serve" but whenyou get there and request a cabana, they say they are "preassigned".
I think they are preassigned because every single time I have been escorted to my cabana, our name has been written on the board by the cabana when we have arrived (right at early opening).

I guess that is possible but that wasn't my experience when I went at the end of September. The only thing I know is definitely assigned is if you booked a stand-alone hut or a lower level or upper level cabana. Then you can choose what is left within your "category" of cabana's. And for us they didn't add our name on our cabana until we got there. I wonder if they have different processes for different times of year. :confused3

Watching that Rix Flix video really has me wanting to go to VB... and I don’t even have a trip planned or go to water parks when I’m Orlando! What a life that must be that these vloggers have, so jealous ::yes::

"I guess that's possible". Yep, I can definitely say that it's possible.

Thanks for this advice! Im staying at Margaritaville so don't have EE, do you think I could still get in early, with a Cabana reservation? not sure that makes any difference

Right now on site guests and passholders of certain tiers can get early entry. Not sure if you have passes?

Yeah, not sure about that part but at least if you are there lined up ready to get in when they let everyone in then you may have to wait a long time. I wish you the best of luck & you will have a great time either way!!

Hi, We have an upper and lower cabana reserved for the week of 6/28/21, does anyone know if we will get assigned a single unit or will they give us the upper and lower cabana at difference locations?

You will not get a single unit unless you specifically book a separate unit. You will have an opportunity to pick your cabana when you arrive for the day so definitely get there early so you can pick units that are close to one another. When you have a lot to pick from it is easy to pick them right under each other. Have fun!

We are staying at the hard rock so I think we get early access to the park. Not sure what time the park opens for us but do you think we need to get there extra early to choose our cabanas?

thanks

When we were there mid-May, we were not able to choose our cabana. When we arrived there, our name was already written on the welcome family board.

Two pieces of advice -- leave your hotel to catch the bus an hour before your early entry, and check with the bus driver to ensure you are headed to Volcano Bay. We almost got on a bus headed to the Parks! :flower:
