$240 for a pass that excludes three of the biggest rides is pretty bad value. That's even worse than the crazy prices that USJ charges for their EPs.
That's why you have to supplement with a Group VIP, just like what they do with Hagrid's (and Velocicoaster in the past).

I don't know, this changes the calculus significantly for me. I was thinking about holding off on visiting Orlando until next year for a variety of reasons. Big concern that you'd need two days to do everything (and even then, with all the reports of downtime...). Summer seemed out of the question, no idea how hot it'll be and there have been complaints about lack of shade. The whole thing about three day tickets that only got you one day at EU. Now they're offering single day tickets and an express pass that yes, doesn't get you into everything, but that's a lot of time not baking in potential extended queues. Having to wait in the normal line for two of them (HP and Mine Cart) seems kinda reasonable. Don't really care much about the third ride not available for this, presumably due to low capacity.

Will have to think about this but might have to look into a visit now. What I will say, having visited Universal Japan last year and getting the express pass there... it mattered a lot. It's a pretty significant expense and understandably it's tough to swallow, but going for one day and not having to worry about waiting in a three hour line for your one day there opens up a lot of possibilities, that meant a lot more time exploring the other activities in SNW.

Wow. I didn't expect VIP tours to come out before 2-Day tickets were offered.

I guess no Express Passes are being offered for Helios guests... :(

If they HAD to have XP for EPIC so soon, I'm so glad it's one-time per ride ONLY & has some exclusions.

Was hoping no XP at all for the first year but knew they wouldn't leave dollars on the table.

ETA also surprised the cost is pretty reasonable - thought it would be more - we'd actually consider purchasing fir a day once we get the "lay of the lands."

Yes, but the EP at USJ included the Mario Kart ride, which is why you had that extra time to explore the other activities. What's the point of the EP if it excludes the rides with long lines?

That one also didn't include all of them though or at least the one I chose didn't. I didn't have the VR coaster, thankfully I randomly ended up there first on opening because that line grew in a hurry.

All Iwant to do is checkout the cart I have but the queue is paused. I'm not even trying to by an EP just one day tickets for June.

Nope, and I wouldnt expect it to ever be offered. Rumor is UO is unhappy with the contract they have with lowes regarding the free express passes which is why no other resort since that contract was signed offers it.

I will say I do hope they add something else for Helios guests. There's really not a lot lot of incentive to stay there vs Cabana Bay for example

Trying a different browser - was one minute away and got a "line is now paused" message, so def something going on:View attachment 951678
Just got into the site. My expected wait time has gone from 7:15 to 6:20 PM to 5:38 PM, I looked at the OI website and my December day's price is $145+tax from them, so I could spend $15 more to buy 2 from them. Decisions, decisions.

Time to wait is dropping rapidly, now says 3:42! 2:20! uh-oh, creeping back up.
