Treasure 2nd voyage

No, they are not out yet. Most likely will not be posted until this coming March. But we know what weeks we want to cruise so the rest is just waiting to be able to book.

Sorry about the fruit. I will now say there is no fruit. They did have whole fruit like apples oranges and pears on deck 11. No sliced fruit at lunch or around the ship.

That is one thing we love about the other ships, the sliced fruit by the sandwiches. I guess we will just have more ice cream!!

Some final thoughts.
Haunted parlor very easy to get into after first two days. They had the two mugs for sale that ran out on the MV.

Line for stores was nuts night one and no lines next six days and nothing was sold out

We enjoyed the new coco menu especially the second night. The chicken MOLE was great. The rib eye was just prime rib. The entertainment at coco was excellent and very fun. Better the second night.

Marvel menu is always blah to me. Second marvel menu was just ok. The second front show is basically a sixty minute trivia show. You read the question and press the button on your quantum core. No score and no prizes but it does pass the time.

We did not have a pirate menu we had a special NYE menu where they gave out champagne and collectors cups at midnight.

We did the champagne tasting and loved it. Did chocolate and liquor tasting. Good as well.

We enjoyed scat cat but there was constant in and out of the door which was very disruptive to the entertainment. We found scat cat way busier than nightingales on the wish.

Skippers was always crowded with trivia and then a band at night.

Tritons was packed for trivia and if you got there 15 min prior you couldn’t sit.

The new indy comedy show on sarabi was fun but beware supper club is nothing but 45 min of waiting. Like no entertainment just atmosphere.

I had a lot of the specially drinks. Most are very sweet. If you like tiki drinks the Diver in periscope pub is the delicious. The salted Carmel martini. In skipper lounge was the best flavored martini on the ship.
If your at the pool avoid the infinity swirl. Its like a smoothy, takes forever to make and has very little alcohol.

I’m a rum guy so I did try every rum they had that I may not have had before except the 45 year dictator at $270 a pour.

Anynfood or drink questions I’ll do my best to answer.

We were on this sailing too! I’ll add some thoughts vs starting a new thread!

We also thought the food was pretty meh expect night two of Coco. We wanted to sneak back in haha. Our party had the enchilada, empanada and guacamole appetizers- all delicious. The guacamole only comes with two chips though- super weird but we had chips from “bread” to use. The salsa is awful and the same both nights! For entrees we had the carnitas, chicken mole and I had the sea bass. This was hands down the best entree I’ve had all week. My husband said the same about the chicken mole. For dessert my family all had and enjoyed the churros but I went with the sundae- so good!

We were those crazies that lined up for the store night one…. Only to see the merch never sold out- even in our sizes haha. Oh well!

We also enjoyed Scat Cat and Periscope Pub. We happened to be in PP waiting on a trivia when the Broncos game was on. Score tied 17-17. Two minutes left to go. Exciting stuff. It hit 15 minutes till trivia and boom. Game off. Trivia on. The crowd went wild… not in a good way! There was no trivia scheduled in there on Sunday so I think this was a weird this with the Sat games.

Haunted Mansion was super cool. It was all we thought it’d be and more. But… we also found it like Ogas- very hard to just relax. People were streaming in and out constantly. We actually didn’t have that problem as much at Scat Cat- but I agree, more than other ships.

Music Trivia at Skippers was tough to hear in the back. They had another Trivia going on during the line up for late dining and I’d guess it was also hard to hear. We did a few trivia’s in Tritons and none of ours were super crowded- one it was just us and another couple…. And we lost hahaha! But we walked by one and saw the people jammed in there.

We noticed there was no towel folding, cooking demos or happy hours.

The adult pool area is such a miss. We have not sailed the Wish but I had seen videos. We sat for a bit in the afternoon on the side in the shade but it was at the exit for the Aqua Mouse so every minute you heard byyyeeeeeee from Minnie. We eventually went to the side deck near the Chip and Dale pool and found some shaded loungers and it was much quieter. Wish they would have made this area the adult area.

We felt like four nights of dinner shows was too much for us. Good to know there was no score the second night of Marvel. We skipped dessert for the ice cream shop and left early. The cookie paw thing in there was huge and soooo sweet. I couldn’t finish it.

We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the Treasure… but all thought we liked the Dream/Fantasy better. But we usually sail based on dates not ship, so we’d absolutely book the treasure again if that’s how it shook out.

I've been searching high and low for this, please confirm show nights when you can! My travel agent said Disney Seas works be night one for sure. 😬
Is that odd to do the other 2 big shows 2 consecutive (last) nights?
They showed Mufasa night one in the big theater. Seas was at 3,6,8:30 (?) on day 2- the sea day.

Yes the big shows were back to back. It was kinda a bummer Moana was on castaway day because we were tired! We did make the 3:00 show and it was wonderful.

The eastern and western have always had slightly different rotations.
what is a Eastern Dining Rotation I know it could change. Will be cruising 7 night Eastern September 13th. 2025. After 31 cruises I should remember lol

Just got onboard treasure. Christmas decor still up!!! Dec 28. Also the ship is beautiful. We were able to hop into haunted mansion as boarding group 10. Lots of folks in and out not many sitting. We will hit it later in the week. Looks like mufasa is tonight. Disney seas night 2. Beauty and beast night 6 and Moana night 7.
But after walking around the ship is stunning. Soft and beautiful not sterile like the wish.
Oh, I wonder if I can switch my Palo night then, as we have Palo night 7 in February, though I suppose we can always do show first then dinner.

We loved both Coco menus (having chips and salsa instead of bread was a nice change, but the entrees were delicious too). The 1st 1923 menu was also great however the 2nd not so much. Only 1 of 6 of us ordered from that menu. I felt the Marvel menus were good, nothing outstanding but good nonetheless. And I am a fan of the Pirate menu so I was happy with that one too. Overall great dining on the Treasure. :thumbsup2

I suspect people will differ widely on this one.

The first night in Coco was some of the lamest, blandest food we'd ever experienced on DCL. Our group had three different mains, all were a massive letdown.
Second night in Coco -- huge improvement.
The first night in Marvel is also fairly lame. The second night meals were much better.
1923 was lovely both nights for us.

I don't expect much from DCL MDRs. But a couple of nights this time were exceptionally underwhelming.
