Shades of Green Tickets Activated?

Kind of? It depends on the ticket. We got FL resident ones that needed activated. I believe military ones do to. However, the regular ticket we bought does not need activated. And by activated I’m talking about having to go to guest services and show them your ID. You can Make park reservations and everything with them beforehand.

Yes, I received hard tickets last week via FedEx, not vouchers.
Thx. These are hard tix too, and look like Disney 50th tix, but they're a mix of salute and regular military discounted ones. I know the ones they used to send still had to be activated, but over the last couple yrs it seems they had switched and were mailing them activated so I just wanted to check.

Do you mean regular as in not Salute?

That's what ours look like. Just to add to my earlier post, we have military salute tickets for June. I just ordered MNSSHP and one-day MYW hopper tickets for a weekend trip in September and they look the same as my June tickets.

We've only been ordering tickets from Shades since I think 2018, but they've always come activated. We used to get them at MWR prior to that where we had a voucher to link but no ticket. The activated part is what made us switch, even with the FedEx fee and tickets being a couple of dollars more than locally, with the time saver that is, makes it worthwhile

We didn’t get them shipped but when we bought the Salute tickets at SOG in Feb they were already activated, unlike the type we’ve bought on base before that we had to activate.

This is an old post, but do you have to show military ID at the turnstiles or anything? My Step-dad is our sponsor (Navy Retiree) for Salutes tickets and him and my Mom will be joining us in the park later in the morning on our first park day after we rope drop.

No you don't and if you buy from SOG they're activated and ready to go. If you buy from a base; the military id person along with everyone else they bought tix for will need to go to guest relations before you enter the park the first day. - We used to do it the night before...then they're activated and you're good to go no further id required.
