Nice vintage merch!Looks similar to this button I may or may not have purchased after my first VGF contract...

At a minimum the bus should stop at VGF first since the monorail stops at Poly first. It’s also important to remember VGF is, from a transportation standpoint, arguably the worst monorail resort. And so, for the flagship, you'd think they could do a little better... But who knows...
Just an opinion that we enjoyed Citricos much more than Narcoossee’s when we went to both a week or so ago.Hi folks. I have my first DVC staying coming up in June, after getting a good deal on a AKV contract last year. We have two rooms booked at the Grand Floridian in resort studios for 10 nights - one is a standard view and one is a lagoon view. From some earlier posts it appears there are some very large trees obstructing some views. Does anyone have recommendations for room requests? I’d like a higher floor, but I also don’t want to be looking at a tree for the entire stay! Any other tips for the Grand Floridian would also be appreciated - we’ve stayed at lots of different Disney resorts but this is our first time here. We’ve just secured dining reservations for V&A, Narcoossee’s, and 1900
Park Fare. Thanks!
100%. I was so disappointed in Narcossee’s. It was like eating at a beach resort with signature pricing.Just an opinion that we enjoyed Citricos much more than Narcoossee’s when we went to both a week or so ago.
For room views, I would go to touringplans.com They have a great room locator tool that does not require a subscription.
I’ve only eaten at Narcoossee’s once, and never Citricos, but we had a fantastic dinner there.100%. I was so disappointed in Narcossee’s. It was like eating at a beach resort with signature pricing.
It’s not that Narcoossee’s was bad…. but the service was the least attentive of any of the signature restaurants we went to and the food was good, but not exceptional.I’ve only eaten at Narcoossee’s once, and never Citricos, but we had a fantastic dinner there.
Narcoosees and Citricos keep flipping in quality. Some trips Criticos is attentive and well prepared, other times it's amateur (once our server never brought cutlery and dropped things on us). Citricos was best when Victoria and Albert's were closed for refurb and the chefs worked Citricos kitchen. It’s not that Narcoossee’s was bad…. but the service was the least attentive of any of the signature restaurants we went to and the food was good, but not exceptional.
We would rank Citricos, Flying Fish, Topolinos, annd Tiffin’s above Narccoosse’s.
I can see that. I will say that the overall quality of our meals at the various restaurants was much better that we expected and was a highlight of the trip.Narcoosees and Citricos keep flipping in quality. Narcoosees is sometimes amazing and other times rather standard. Disney restaurants are just never consistent.

Do you want it to be loud and crowded? We did Citricos last September and thought it was just ok..food was good and server was a nice chap but founf the whole place underwhelming (was nobody there so no atmosphere whatsoever), would not go back TBH, we are back in September for 5 nights so may try Narcoose’s.

Would you mind elaborating on Flying Fish? I feel like it always has spectacular reviews and I think it is the only signature across property I never ate at so I am genuinely curious what happened during the meal?Narcoossees is our traditional last night restaurant even if we aren’t staying at the GF, so I am very biased. That said, we gave Citricos another try last year after several years of avoiding it & we really liked it, returned in Jan. & again had a great meal.
W/ Toppolinos over at the Riv, we really liked it initially, but have noticed a decline, so we’re giving it a pass for now. Flying Fish is still on our no fly list after a spectacularly bad meal there. Tiffins is a split opinion in our group, it has its ardent fans but I’m meh about it, so we eat there every trip
. Brown Derby, OTH, has jumped from meh to pretty good, so it’s back on our list
.
It was a long time ago, so the details have faded, if we loved fish we’d likely give it another try.Would you mind elaborating on Flying Fish?
