Go Birds
I will always root for the Chiefs first, but I do hope someday the Bills will get their Super Bowl win. I think it will happen, and likely soon. Josh Allen is my second favorite quarterback in the league, and I think Bills fans overall are amazing. As a long-suffering St. Louis Blues fan, I know what it's like to root for a team that can't quite get there for decades, and how sweet the victory is when it finally happens.I voted for Neither since I am a Bill's fan for life (50 years of heartbreak here in Western NY). I can not bring myself to root for the Eagles either - so I may not even watch the superbowl except for the half time show.
......sto the Lions, of course.![]()

Yep, I’m a 49ers fan, but as soon as we were out I was hoping for Bills/Lions Super Bowl.I will always root for the Chiefs first, but I do hope someday the Bills will get their Super Bowl win. Why am I not surprised such a strange and obscure outcome involves the Lions? That is what I have been conditioned to expect as a lifelong Metro Detroiter, not the run for glory we've enjoyed these past two seasons. It never happened at a Super Bowl but:
There was a 0-0 tie on Nov. 7, 1943, in a game played between the New York Giants and Detroit Lions. The two teams combined for nine first downs and 214 yards at Briggs Stadium in Detroit. The game featured 77 running plays and 16 pass attempts.
We talked about that at work. That was before overtimes were added. But, what if neither team ever scores, and they rack up so many overtimes that the stadium just closes down. No Lombardi Trophy. Just disillusioned fans tiredly leaving in boredom.
Wouldn't that be fun?![]()
lol giant fan here routing for Philly! Let’s face it, giants were never going to Super Bowl this year. Philadelphia is only 1 1/2 hours away, plus I have good friends who are dedicated eagles season ticket holders, so I want this for them.Agreed! While I really enjoy football regardless of who is playing and may be leaning slightly towards the Chiefs (Giants fans don't root for Philly), this is one of those years that I'll be watching mainly for the commercials.
Same here- at least they did better than last season. I don't care who wins this Super Bowl but I am getting tired of the Chiefs.Broncos for me![]()
Oregon fan here. Loved watching Bo Nix this year play an amazing rookie year for you all!!Broncos for me![]()

Yeah, me too.Same here- at least they did better than last season. I don't care who wins this Super Bowl but I am getting tired of the Chiefs.
I could have written this post. I wanted the Buffalo Bills and the Lions to play. I love both teams and am glad to see the Lions have such a wonderful year after being the butt of all jokes for years. This was the worst case scenario I wanted for Super Bowl.UGH!
Don't like either team, but I am sick of KC and their preferential treatment by refs, so I am cheering for the Eagles.
I wanted Lions to go so badly. Not for myself, but for my parents who have been fans their whole lives and have suffered through many of pitiful seasons.
I wanted the Bills. They have gone, but never won. And I am a fan Josh Allen. Seeing his crushed face last Sunday was a heartbreaker.
I would have been excited for the Commanders. Jayden Daniels went to my alma mater, ASU. Amazing watching the rookie go so far. Great underdog story. I look forward to seeing what he does next year.
I would have been ok with Baltimore Ravens. This is almost blasphemous as a Steelers fan, but I have a soft spot for Lamar. I have no soft spot for any team in current Super Bowl lineup.
So here we are. Nothing but the commercials to look forward to. The halftime show does not interest me in the least.

I also am a fan of Jayden Daniels. He is amazing, and the same with the Ravens. Like Lamar but that's it.
Also looking forward to the commercials. I hear that the Budweiser Horses will be back this year!
What do you mean that Josh Allen had a crushed face? I didn't hear about that or see it.
thanks.
