I don't really care, but I'm impressed with myself for choosing the winners of the semi-finals. Perhaps, I should start wagering a little something on the real game.
THE EAGLES.

I voted for Neither since I am a Bill's fan for life (50 years of heartbreak here in Western NY). I can not bring myself to root for the Eagles either - so I may not even watch the superbowl except for the half time show.

I will always root for the Chiefs first, but I do hope someday the Bills will get their Super Bowl win. I think it will happen, and likely soon. Josh Allen is my second favorite quarterback in the league, and I think Bills fans overall are amazing. As a long-suffering St. Louis Blues fan, I know what it's like to root for a team that can't quite get there for decades, and how sweet the victory is when it finally happens.

......sto the Lions, of course. :thumbsup2 :cheer2:

Yep, I’m a 49ers fan, but as soon as we were out I was hoping for Bills/Lions Super Bowl.

It never happened at a Super Bowl but:

There was a 0-0 tie on Nov. 7, 1943, in a game played between the New York Giants and Detroit Lions. The two teams combined for nine first downs and 214 yards at Briggs Stadium in Detroit. The game featured 77 running plays and 16 pass attempts.

We talked about that at work. That was before overtimes were added. But, what if neither team ever scores, and they rack up so many overtimes that the stadium just closes down. No Lombardi Trophy. Just disillusioned fans tiredly leaving in boredom.
Wouldn't that be fun? 😂
Why am I not surprised such a strange and obscure outcome involves the Lions? That is what I have been conditioned to expect as a lifelong Metro Detroiter, not the run for glory we've enjoyed these past two seasons.

Maybe next year.

Agreed! While I really enjoy football regardless of who is playing and may be leaning slightly towards the Chiefs (Giants fans don't root for Philly), this is one of those years that I'll be watching mainly for the commercials.
lol giant fan here routing for Philly! Let’s face it, giants were never going to Super Bowl this year. Philadelphia is only 1 1/2 hours away, plus I have good friends who are dedicated eagles season ticket holders, so I want this for them.

Broncos for me🙄
Oregon fan here. Loved watching Bo Nix this year play an amazing rookie year for you all!!

So I voted for the Eagles. This was the Super Bowl I did not want. I kept telling my husband as long as it’s not chiefs v eagles again. Whelp.

But I do love Barkley and it’s great seeing him playing somewhere and being treated well. Plus Hurts is amazing. He is talented, smart and a really nice guy. He has an all female management team by choice and speaks a lot about equality. I respect him immensely. So while this isn’t the showdown I was hoping for, I’m wearing green on Sunday.

Personally I think this poll is asking the wrong question. I heard on the radio this morning that Trump is planning to attend the game. He will be the first sitting president to do so. So the real question now is who is the news team going to focus on? Trump or Tay Tay?

Yeah...the Giants were lucky to win what little they did. It's just this whole silly thing about never rooting for the #1 "enemy." Still, it's times like this when I'm reminded of this Seinfeld bit...

This was the worst case scenario I wanted for Super Bowl. :rolleyes2 UGH!
Don't like either team, but I am sick of KC and their preferential treatment by refs, so I am cheering for the Eagles.

I wanted Lions to go so badly. Not for myself, but for my parents who have been fans their whole lives and have suffered through many of pitiful seasons.

I wanted the Bills. They have gone, but never won. And I am a fan Josh Allen. Seeing his crushed face last Sunday was a heartbreaker.

I would have been excited for the Commanders. Jayden Daniels went to my alma mater, ASU. Amazing watching the rookie go so far. Great underdog story. I look forward to seeing what he does next year.

I would have been ok with Baltimore Ravens. This is almost blasphemous as a Steelers fan, but I have a soft spot for Lamar. I have no soft spot for any team in current Super Bowl lineup.

So here we are. Nothing but the commercials to look forward to. The halftime show does not interest me in the least.
I could have written this post. I wanted the Buffalo Bills and the Lions to play. I love both teams and am glad to see the Lions have such a wonderful year after being the butt of all jokes for years.
I also am a fan of Jayden Daniels. He is amazing, and the same with the Ravens. Like Lamar but that's it.

Also looking forward to the commercials. I hear that the Budweiser Horses will be back this year!
What do you mean that Josh Allen had a crushed face? I didn't hear about that or see it.

thanks.

Hoping for the Chiefs 3-Peat.

They have the face of the league in Mahomes and are just a very solid and well coached team.

Despite what conspiracy theorists may say, they do not get preferential treatment, they are just good at football and everyone else is just jealous of their success.

Sorry, not physically. Emotionally. He looked heartbroken on the bench when he saw KC get the first down and it was over.

I’m not a football person, so I don’t care who wins.
