Back around 2012/2013 Disney offered a Sunrise Safari special event, it was breakfast on the Jungle Cruise.

I would LOVE to do something like this. Does anyone remember this, or know if there has been anything similar offered since? Also, if you have done it I would love to hear about the experience.

IIRC, it was offered only for a few weeks at a price of over $300pp. Could you imagine the cost today? I wouldn’t look for it to return.

I'd pay $300 for it. Yes I am sure it would be more now, as everything is. I wish there was a unique offering like this today, maybe not that exact one, but the ability to pay for a unique semi behind the scenes event with amazing food...sign me up!

I read a trip report that included that and I was so bummed that I didn't know about it in time to book it.

There's nothing really like that, but there is a sunrise Yoga in DL park at Space Mountain. The instructors told me that lots of people take it who have never taken yoga, but they are Space Mountain fans. It comes with to go type breakfast and pictures. You get to walk through some BTS areas. I was hoping to take it, but I haven't been able to visit on one of the rare days that it is offered. You book it through Tenaya Stone Spa.

Can you imagine what the Disney site would be like if that went up for booking? It would probably crash immediately.

They'd have to charge A LOT if they could even do it at all. There seem to be no shortage of people with endless money to drop on Disney "special" things and there might be too much demand. I mean, TBH, if I had the dough I'd probably do it, though I didn't last time. But I'm older now and all my kids are grown so...

If you come to Disney World, you can eat lunch/dinner at Skipper's Canteen then hop onto Jungle Cruise next door.

There are also Wild Africa Trek and Savor the Savanna at Animal Kingdom to see real animals up close.

“Whoever” has two threads with posts of information from their experience.
Here is the first one – Matt’s Sunrise Safari Report – Breakfast on the Jungle Cruise!

Jungle Cruise Safari - $300 in 2015
2025 The princess breakfast is that much now. I can't imagine how much a Jungle Cruise Breakfast would be today.
I love his photography skills and trip reports, I forgot about his, lol, I think I read it way back then when he did it and I forgot about it! Many things Matt has seen and done have motivated me to do...hopes and dreams!

BTW, I haven't "seen him around here or Mice Chat or anywhere...wonder if he is still going to the parks?
