Stranded at WDW for a Day

Our outbound flight got changed from 8am to 8pm and we decided to book a studio for 2 nights instead to have a place to hang out during the day. We’ll probably do some park time and some resort time.

We made our choice, but I’m interested to get others thoughts.

OKW cuz lowest points studio. Have some farewell fried chicken from Olivias and libations from The Gurgling Suitcase. Nuff said.

Since you say park time… beach club. I don’t care for SAB and the DVC pools are fine.
You can walk to Epcot and Skyline to HS or boat.

Skyline over to Riviera for quick service.

Monorail resorts are ok and I like making the loop and visiting the gift shops and getting a drink or snack.

I did not cast a vote but those are my choices.

I would also choose Boardwalk for the same reason as BC.

But is the pool going to be fine when hit with the influx of other guests since SAB will be closed and it’s an alternative?

You can't stay at your home resort and your points don't matter than I think it is going to be CC or BWV. They are a nice quiet resort (compared to Poly) and the lobby is magnificent. I really enjoy Geyser Point and Territory Lounge as well as hearing the whistles from the Ferry.

Although an extremely close 2nd or maybe tied would be the Boardwalk. Abracadabar is a nice place although it can get crowded, Trattoria al Forno is agreat option for food and I don't mind the pizza window so that's another stellar option. It's quiet during the day and wakes up at night, but it can get a little tough to watch the movies under the stars there with some of the noise and activity on the Boardwalk.

I picked CCV - while BWV is usually my #1, we ended our last trip with a few nights at CCV and it was so relaxing. Close enough to MK to hop over if/when we wanted, but definitely not necessary. It was a good way to unwind before bouncing back into non-vaca reality.
