My grandma and I had a lot of fun today at the 5K! We finished in 65 minutes (moving)/74 minutes overall. We started right at the front of the third wave of C.

After we got back from our park day, I had to make some repairs to my Hades hat, but it should be good now. I'm just waiting for my grandma to end her call home to my uncle and grandpa so I can get my stuff ready for tomorrow and get to bed.

I just finally got a good look at my bib and I'm somehow corral A?!?!? I don’t feel right starting there so I'll probably drop back to B where my club status puts me.

I'll be wearing this in the morning and hope to see you all at the light pole!

Question for anyone who has had a spectator at the finish line for the 10K: is rideshare a decent option? I hate for my DH to ride the bus with me and then stand around for hours. The resort transportation info says that busses run from 3-5 am, but also say runners and spectators should be there by 4. Any insight?

This is me trying to show some spirit.
And I must be one of the few people who didn’t really care much about the Brooks shoe frenzy. I looked at the designs, none of them were anything I needed to have, but boy did it complicate trying to go do the rest of my merchandise visit with The virtual queue, just to go get a mug and a magnet, plus the fact they wouldn’t let my son come in with me.Total PITA.
OTOH, I did get to meet Mr Galloway. Very nice guy.
