runDisney fail, Dr never came out but I got to run with Jeff Galloway for a bit before I finished so always a bonus

I went by on wheels. I think there was some kind of technical issues going on. I think I counted at least 6 cast members while climbing up the hill to the American pavilion and no one had stopped at that point yet. To the point I didn’t realize at first it was supposed to be a character stop and thus didn’t have the time to get into position for it if I had wanted.

I’m on standby for Groot. If it helps anyone, a cast member said he’ll be here tomorrow and Sunday. I’m hoping a lot of these people will do group photos and I’ll get it today!

I couldn’t believe how long the line for Strange was when we went by!! It started way before Italy!! We only stopped for Elastigirl, since the lines were really long. Even hers took 10 minutes.

You know sometimes I don’t mind not knowing the characters before hand because it makes for nice surprises. I love Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. And had missed the rumors they were going to have her out in some circles by some miracle so rolling up on her right before mile 1 just about made my morning

@1lilspark going to try and model myself after you tomorrow morning and get down to the buses a bit earlier - not sure about first bus of they day…. This morning it was strange to just stand there in a decent sized line waiting for a bus to come. Experienced that at WL and AKL but never Pop. Kept thinking to myself why did I hit snooze!

A bus finally came and I was on the wrong side of Mayra’s count. Side note - totally cool to meet her! But the family in front of me did not want to have to sit apart and switched with me. I became last on the bus and they would be first on the next to arrive.

No snooze button tomorrow!

Oh speak of bus drama. I show up to the lobby like I have for multiple weekends now for disability transport. I’m like two minutes late because of just things happening this morning. And I don’t know where they are because they didn’t send me tracker info saying when they’re coming.

No bus at the lobby. Panic insues because I’ve got a bad tire and I need someone to help me swap it out. So I don’t have to much wiggle room. I call the one contact I have. She doesn’t have contact with the transport.

Great.

I eventually wander down to where the Academy busses are. And find that’s where suddenly we’re loading. They try to tell me that’s where we’ve always loaded. Which I know isn’t the truth but anyway it’s a moot point.

Anybody know how the Brooks shoe situation is looking? I'd love to get a pair for my wife for Mother's Day, but eBay prices are rough. Holding out hope that maybe there will be some stock left that will go online next week.

Also the participant shirts were a bit smaller. Traded in my large for extra large.

So once we got back to the resort room I had a chance to really try them on without putting them over a T-shirt as I had at the expo and realized XL was too big. So we headed back to expo today to switch back to Large. Might be a bit snug but better.

They’re letting people take two pairs per style today so I would say that’s a sign that there’s plenty left to be honest but could be wrong

It should be noted part of the reason eBay prices are rough is because Brooks is actually cracking down on them. First day they only allowed them to get one per style. So they’re trying to get as much money as they can per purchase.

Running the 5k this morning, it felt deceptively cool before starting, but once I got going it felt quite warm so be careful and hydrate.

I hope those rumors are true, looking at the runDisney shoes I got at the expo listed on eBay for 350, I will celebrate if those scalpers get stuffed hard with what little inventory they got

I got the same size Brooks shirts as previous weekends and they fit fine. I do like the crew neck better and the length is good.
