We like the Bay’s brand English muffin. They are in the refrigerator section close to the dairy stuff. We keep them in the fridge or freeze them. We have an inexpensive vacuum sealer and I put them in the freezer for a few hours and then vacuum sealer them. Works well.

I haven't had an english muffin (except as a sausage mcmuffin) in a very long time. I enjoy most of the flavors but I think original, mutli/whole grain and sourdough would be my favorites.

Wonder how difficult it is to make english muffins? I need to activate/use my sourdough starter maybe I can make some sourdough english muffins?

I don't get them often, but I happen to have some right now. I usually get whole wheat or sourdough, but sometimes I get cinnamon raisin if I have some cream cheese to use up or something. I've never had blueberry or cranberry, which is odd because I love those fruits and their muffins and bagels.

Original and only Thomas' ~ I won't buy any other brand. Given that I only get them when on sale.

We prefer sourdough, but will also buy original, cinnamon raisin, and seasonal ones like pumpkin spice. I'm not sure I've ever even seen blueberry. For some reason prices go all over the place with Thomas' (at least at my store) so I get them when set at a reasonable price and store them in the freezer.

Usually I will eat them with just butter, occasionally with lingonberry jam from Ikea. The pumpkin spice ones I like with apple or pumpkin butter.

We often have the plain ones here. My DH likes them as a breakfast sandwich on the weekends. I like them too, but I like bagels more, so if I'm going for breakfast bread, I'll usually choose a bagel. I didn't realize there were so many flavors of English muffins. He prefers Bays brand to Thomas's although we'll get Thomas's if they're on sale.

We usually have english muffins in the house because we both prefer them instead of toast. Plain or sourdough are the choices we have.

Don’t like or eat English muffins, but…also had no idea there were so many flavors or varieties. Maybe I’ll try them again .

I’ve always enjoyed English Muffins in the morning for breakfast (usually with eggs) and for lunch when I make baby pizzas with them (I haven’t done this since DD21 went away to school). I don’t buy them often now because DH doesn’t eat breakfast at home during the week (he eats a yogurt & granola bar at work) and I don’t eat them during the week either, so they go stale and have to be thrown away. I did buy them last week, which is what inspired this poll, to make homemade egg sandwiches at home last weekend. Since it’s Friday during Lent (no meat for me), I’m going to make myself another egg & cheese sandwich for lunch today - I’m pretty excited about it. When I decided to do this poll, I was surprised at how many flavor/types of English Muffins there are. So share with us today……..

When you buy English Muffins, what flavor/types do you enjoy?
(multiple choice)

*I have the flavor/types from the Thomas’ Bread website. I can’t list them all, so if your type isn’t there, please choose “other” and post what it is.

*If you have a good recipe that uses English Muffins, please post that for others to try.

For Me…….As I mentioned above, I don’t buy them often, but when I do I/we enjoy original, cinnamon raisin and blueberry. I never tried the other ones. I’ll have to look to see if that honey wheat one is available at our grocery store - that looks good. I normally walk right past them without looking at them.

I like them but my husband prefers crumpets which look like an English muffin but have a completely different texture
