Purchasing onboard credit - codes as travel?

Hello!

Does anyone know what purchasing onboard credits codes as for credit cards?
I have an offer of +5 Alaska miles for travel purchases through 3/31 and am wondering if I can purchase onboard credits for our cruise next week and get the bonus. I prefer to keep my Disney Visa as my onboard credit card linked to my account so that I can get the Disney Visa discounts onboard.

I know that purchasing gifts came through as "florist" on my Disney Visa card when I bought some gifts and decorations to be delivered to our stateroom, and was wondering if onboard credits would appear the same or if they would count as a travel purchase. This would be good for me to know in the future, too, because if they code as travel I could purchase onboard credits with my Sapphire card to get x3 back, while keeping the Disney Visa attached to my onboard account (x2 back) for the onboard discounts.

When I look at a spa credit I purchased that's just labeled as shopping on the Disney Visa.

I don't remember which card I paid for the OBC with and it's not showing up on my quick scans.

I noticed on the amenities I previously bought for this upcoming cruise, it came through on my Disney statement tagged as “florist.” As it was a Disney purchase, I got my 2% back.

I wonder if Disney changed the category. I know two years ago if I pre-purchased onboard credits and gift amenities, I got the 6 months zero financing and 2% back on my Disney card as of I had made a Disney Cruise purchase, but as of last year that stopped working. I figured I got lucky with a loophole so never dug into why it stopped working.

I made a test of purchasing a small shipboard credit with both my Alaska Airlines BofA card and my Chase Sapphire card and will report back as to what they post as.
