We just received our 7 day PHP passes along with complementary breakfast passes. We will be there next week. Has anyone used these breakfast vouchers? & any suggestions as to a good place for 2 Adults & 5 Children (9,7,7,5,5). We are not staying onsite, it looks like many of the restaurants are located in the different resorts, will this be a problem? Can we take Disney transportation to these places, like maybe Fort Wilderness?:sunny: Thanks in Advance:bounce:

ues them a couple of weeks ago. I tried to get a ps at Chef Mickey, but it was booked. We got in at Cape May. The buffet was great. Chip/Dale/Goofy came around.
If you have a car, it is not hard to get to the resorts to eat.

If you go to wdwig.com, you can see the menus and which characters are there.

I have also heard that Ohana's is good.

You should also check out the restaurant board for more opinions.

My first suggestion is since you are not staying on site, drive where ever you want to go. Taking the bus back and forth to the resorts is generally not worth the time. (A key to dirving is knowing which park the resort is associated with - ie driving to Fort Wilderness, you will need to follow MK signs, than as you get close there will be FW signs).

I don't know the mix of girls and boys but assuming they aren't all girls my first recommendation would be Crystal Palace with Pooh Bear. You could try for the Princess Breakfast in Norway as well.

The great thing about the vouchers is they include tip and tax

Enjoy

if you are at MK take the boat to FW...but don't use the voucher there as the meal is only about $10 per adult and no characters.great for an inexpensive -by -WDW -standard general buffet for any meal though.

Thanks for all your suggestions. The Princess Breakfast at Epcot sounds like it might be the best bet for us. The boy/girl mix is 4 girls to 1 boy, so it looks like the girls win. I do have another question, if the breakfast starts at 8:30 - and Future World opens at 9:00 - and World Showcase at 11:00, how do we get in? We like to do as much as we can as early as we can in the parks, so would like to eat as soon as possible. Thanks Again

we used them at Chef Mickey's and Cape May. I don't think you'll have a problem parking at either resort. you might need your PS number to show at the gate, but that's about it.

have fun!

Another poster on the Orlando Hotels board said she got an email from Paramount saying that their b-fast vouchers were not good at the CRT, Epcot Princess b-fast, or at the Crystal Palace in the MK. You may want to check directly with Paramount...or, may I ask...if you already have the vouchers in hand...do they list either of these 3 restaurants on them? Maybe they are giving out new vouchers that are no longer good at those restaurants.

Thanks for any info! :)

Depending on where you are staying you can enter through the main gate or International Gateway. They normally have a CM on "breakfast duty" who has a clipboard with a list of all PS. Sometimes they look at it and sometimes they just send you through. It was a great time to walk through Epcot, the quiet was amazing.

BTW, the "breakfast duty" CM happens at all parks, usually there is a sign all the way to the left hand entrance at MK for this.

Enjoy

I was the one that posted about the character breakfast vouchers. Paramount did state that they could not be used at the CRT, CP, and PSB. However...... I have read posts where they have been accepted at those breakfasts.. I guess it's a matter of finding out for ourselves.....

We used ours at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian. I don't remember there being any character breakfasts listed on the back. You should call Paramount and ask to be sure. Edited to add that with the voucher they ask who it is for. We only had one for my oldest DD as we have APs. I ordered the press pot at Kona's along with a higher priced entree. The CM told me that he was taking off the higher priced meal and the press pot! The press pot alone is $7 and with the meal it came to over $20 that we saved using the voucher. So breakfast for 4 of us only came to $25. Great deal!

With the ages of your kids I say go to Chef Mickey's. It's an easy drive to the Contemporary and the napkin dance is lots of fun. We were not able to use our vouchers at the princess breakfasts.

I just sent an email to Paramount regarding the Princess Breakfast. Restaurant Akershus is listed on the back of our voucher as one participating, but we shall see what we shall see. If not, Chef Mickey's sound fun and thats what we want - fun.

Thanks again for the advice :teeth:

The email that I received from paramount stated that the princess breakfast was not listed on the back of the pass, but it could have been added in the meantime. Their tickets were printed awhile ago.
