OTU points and paid membership program

So who is buying points tomorrow? I am. Gotta make a ressie. Cancel and swap them for an upcoming trip (made within 7 months) Our NYE splurge on a 1 BR Poly Tower TPV sucked up a lot of points. Ha ha ha.

I just did this earlier this morning. I am going to cancel my one-night reservation and switch out the OTUP with 24 points from our 2025 pts.

If I have one membership number, but two contracts, which contract does the OTUP go to? Do I tell them which one?

Neither - the OTU points are a ‘contract’ by themselves.

Okay, so I bought the 24 OTU points and paid for 12 today by making my fake reservation. Only an hour and 40 minutes on hold…ugh. Anyway, how long do I need to hold onto my fake reservation before I can cancel and reallocate those OTU points?

I just chatted with a CM online who helped cancel my 'fake' reservation and swap out my 24-2025 points with the OTUP.
