Aarrgghh - 15 minutes left to go into the season premier and our local channel interrupts to talk non-stop weather for two counties away -

please - if someone, anybody is watching the last 15 minutes of ghost whisperer, post and let me know what happened!!!!

:furious:

The last 15 mins. I'm not exactly sure where that left off. Let me know if I need to go earlier. Melinda and Mitch went to the shop and Melinda told Mitch about how she sees the dead. She took him to the shop to find her and made him tell her a story about Andrea and him. He told a story about when their dad died, they couldn't get hold of Andrea because she traveled all the time. Andrea shows up and is upset because Mitch never told her. So then Melinda tells Mitch about Andrea feeling guilty and needing forgiveness before she could cross into the light. He says that he also wished for a min that they ccould have traded places and he was dead. Then Andrea talks to Melinda about she is scared to go in the light and Melinda tells her the light is full of love. Andrea crosses into the light. The last scene was of that guy looking on the internet for Melinda. He goes to the airport and trys to check in. the security guy asks for his ID and the guy says it's in the car. The security guy tells him to go get it. The guy walks into the street to go get it and is hit by a taxi and flys onto the next car behind the taxi before finally hitting the ground. The last thing you see is the guy on the ground surounded by the security guys and he's looking down on himself.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need it explained better.

I missed some of the beginning. Who was the guy that died at the airport? How did he tie in to the story?

I'm not sure how he ties in. When Melinda was on the news he saw her. Then after that he started looking for her on the internet. He found her address and was at the airport because he was going to find Melinda. It was never explained why he wanted to see Melinda or even his name. We have to wait until next week to see how he ties in.

I forgot to watch it! Luckily my dad taped it, so I can watch it tomorrow. Me and my stupid bad memory. Ugh.

In the previews for next week it looks like he's an old boyfriend. He tells her he loves her and they can be together.

Unfortunately, I was not able to watch tonight as we went to my ILs for the evening. Can someone please tell me what all happened tonight? Is Andrea really dead? I need details! TIA!

Kim - thank you so much - the last thing I saw was the professor staring at his office with all of the paper on the wall but I figured that was either "Romano" or Andrea - is this right or something else entirely?

Was Andrea the one responsible for writing all of the "hate" messages on the walls of her apartment (when Melinda and Mitch saw the light on and someone pacing and then walked in to find all the graffiti)?

Andrea said something when Melinda saw her in the shower about something she was either afraid or ashamed to talk about - was this answered by the whole "Father died and Andrea no where to be found" sequence?

I so hate to see Andrea go - I know it's only TV but I really liked her character and the dynamic between her and Melinda and you could have knocked me over with a feather last spring when it happened - I Tivo'd it and must have watched the last part of that episode 3 or 4 more times just trying to understand what happened.

Kim - thank you again so much - I just knew you guys at the DIS wouldn't let me down - y'all are awesome!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Yes - sadly - Andrea is really dead - her funeral was on tonite's episode (I got to see that much at least!).

I don't know if it was because it was a character that we all knew already or if it really was weirder but tonite's epside was really creepy to me the way Andrea kept showing up and saying how scared she was and then it flashing back and forth between how she looked that last day and the weird "pale and zombie-eyed" look - oooooo!

Melinda actually had a dream very early in the show where she and Andrea were talking and she told Andrea that she was in a coma and that there was still hope - that was a pretty cruel joke to the audience on the part of the writers, I thought, since very shortly later, you saw Andrea's funeral.

Let's see - Melinda also sought out a professor who was supposed to be some kind of paranormal/psychology expert and he's supposed to be a regular on the show now for a while.

The only other story line that I can think of is the one already mentioned about mysterious Seattle/airport guy - guess we'll find out more next week.

Hope this helps!

p.s. - does anyone know if there is a GW thread on this board for general discussion?

ACK! I totally forgot to watch this last night. We saw it for the first time last week. A bit schmaltzy but an interesting concept. I have to say the end of that episode when the woman who had been looking for her brother turned out to be the one who was dead, blew me away.

Is this show an on going thing or self contained new stories every week. Like is the lead woman character the only one who shows up week after week? Did that make any sense? :confused3 :teeth:

Anyway, I'm off to Tivo it for next Friday so I don't miss it again. :thumbsup2

It's sort of a combination of both - Andrea (who you saw die instead of the brother on the last episode) was a regular - she along with Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt), Melinda's hubby and the town which all the story lines revolve around are consistent from one week to the next but generally, the person she is trying to help cross over changes from week to week.

Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! I can't believe they killed off Andrea! :( I was in WDW this Spring when the finale aired but I caught the repeat a couple weeks ago and it not only blew me away but I cried when I realized she was dead. I kept hoping she was just in a coma. Ah, well, time to see what happens next week.

Romano was responsible for the paper all over his office. In fact Romano left a calling card. It was some kind of picture that was a death threat saying back off or you'll be sorry. I also think Romano was responsible for all the hate graffiti in Andrea's apt. What Andrea was ashamed of was when she realized that she was dead and her brother was alive is she wished for a split second that she was alive and it was her brother that was dead. Did you see where the prof explained who Romano was to Melinda? If you didnt let me know and I will explain that too.

I would love to have an explanation to that if you don't mind. That way I might not be so confused next week since I missed this week's episode. I can use all the details you feel like sharing! ;) Thanks so much!

ok, I'll do my best. It was 2 days ago ;)

Romano was a cult leader back in 1938 who convinced 115 people to commit suicide. He also did along with his right hand man (who is the 2nd man. The one who talked is Romano and the one who laughed was the other man). Now Romano is a dark spirit. In the spirit world they try to collect as many souls as they can, if they get a light spirit they get "bonus points". That is why they are trying to get Melinda and that is why they were torturing Andrea figuring Melinda would give herself to them than let Andrea continue to be tortured. I think that is it.

Thanks for all the information on this show. It's going to make a lot more sense when I watch it on Friday. :)

Oh, thank you so much! It is all adding up to me now and I will not be so lost when I watch this Friday. Thanks again! :)

LOL, I just saw this a minute ago on DVR! It's my son's favorite show and he had to see it with me!

Cried like a BABY when she saw her Dad...
