Thanks. I don't think I will be though. I suppose I could get 6 or 7 day tickets as well, but I really don't think I'll be back for a while.

Back in 2017, I posted about the insane Amex offer for 20% off at Sam's Club for up to $1250 of spend. (you don't remember my post? It was only 7 years ago. Lol, I have referenced it below.)

Anyways, I bought a couple of thousand dollars worth of Disney gift cards. And then one year we couldn't go. And then the pandemic hit. So the gift cards ended up not being used up until this last summer. We ended up using our last gift card this past summer, with no problem. So that is a gift card that was purchased 7 years ago.

With disney gift cards, I think the better chance of them getting hacked are with e-gift cards with your email getting hacked or the company sending the gift cards getting hacked. In store gift cards, as long as you check carefully that the gold sticker is not tampered with, they usually are not a problem.

Of course, if you want to be sure, you can go into the Disney store (or another store) and ask them to get a gift card from behind the counter that hasn't been out and then transfer the money to that card.

One more target circle bonus for today. This time, it was spend 120, get 15. My pre-redcard total was $125, actual total was $118.75, another order of eDGC

Bonus properly credited as soon as the emails came.

So, I think we can officially confirm that the glitch is over and those using the Circle Week bonuses can expect the normal rules to apply to eDGC purchases to hit the bonus.

At least, that's for new orders going forward. Anyone with glitchy orders from earlier in the week seeming them suddenly credit?

Ok based on your report I decided to try too and it also worked! My offer was $15 rewards on $125 purchase. I bought $125 in Disney gift cards so after red card discount it was $118.75 total. Got gift cards and reward about 5min later!

Another Target data point. It's been more than 24 hours since I picked up the order and the reward is not on my account yet.

My offer was: Shop 1 time on qualifying purchases of $125 or more to earn $15 in Target Circle Rewards. I made sure to activate the bonus before starting my pickup order.

I placed a grocery pickup order on Sunday 10/6, totaling exactly $125 (plus another $3.18 in tax). The order consisted only of food and health&beauty items. The store was out of stock on one item, so I chose the option to pick up that item at another Target location. It still shows as a single order on my account, with 2 parts/invoices. I picked up both parts of the order on Monday. In the app I see the order total is $128.18, but on my credit card there are two separate charges - $124.99 and $3.19.

I'm planning to call Target later today to inquire why I don't have the reward yet. I'm hoping they don't consider the fact they were out of stock and I had to pick up an item at a second location to invalidate the offer.

I chat-messaged Target on my husband's account and called on mine.
On the chat the rep ended up giving me a $15 refund even though he initially told me to chat back in a week after the promo expired. Originally he said it didn't trigger because I bought $150 in gift cards for $142.50 (because I got the 5% discount from my Red Card) but I told him the terms said that wouldn't be an issue. He ended up saying it was fine.

On the call the rep would not give the $15 reward - said I needed to call back tomorrow.

Similar experience this morning. I reached out via online chat, after waiting 2 days to see if it tracked. The first person who helped me first said that I didn't meet the spend requirement, until I pointed out that the offer says it is calculated before other discounts, and I met the requirement before my redcard discount. They then said that yes, I qualified for the reward and it was a known issue with this offer not tracking, and that I should wait until the offer period expired, reach out again, and then they would fix it. I politely said that was not acceptable. They said they could not resolve it, so I asked that it be escalated. I was transferred to a second chat assistant, who first tried to say I didn't meet the minimum and that Disney gift cards were excluded. I pointed out the offer terms on the amount again, as well as the terms that excluded Target gift cards and pre-paid AmEx and Mastercards, but did not exclude 3rd party gift cards. I told them that I had already been told by the first assistant that my order qualified and that there is a known issue, and that I was told to chat or call again in a few days. I told them again that I did not think I should have to wait & spend more of my time to reach out again to resolve this, when they are already aware of the issue. At that point they simply said they agreed, and were able to credit the reward to my account.

please refresh my memory- target- is is circle bonus where you can get a 3rd party gc to track? or the rewards? I don't use the app often and find this confusing- also can you use paypal to pay for online gc purchase thru target? or must use the redcard for that deal

If I am doing the math correctly - the $100 gift card is the best deal at 5.51% off, the $150 is 5.34% off and the $500 is 5.2% off. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. But looks like it's better to buy 5 $100 cards (for 472.45) as opposed to 1 $500 (for 473.99).

Also if you have a Chase Freedom or Freedom Flex you can get 5% back by paying via paypal on BJs.com
I'm not that great at figuring out percentages but this looks good!

so I have a target circle bonus offer (but no redcard) says 'earn $10 reward on $80 or more to earn $10 target circle rewards' is this the type of offer I'm seeing discussed here right now?

I did the same tactic as you and they told me I should see my 15 dollars in 24 hours or less.

Generally, yes, the "Spend X, Get Y" rewards bonuses track on 3rd party GCs. You get the circle rewards in your account and then have to remember to apply them to a future purchase. That future purchase can NOT be GCs, though. Real, physical goods for spending the earnings. If the offer reads, "Get Y off when you spend X" then 3rd party gift cards don't qualify. If the money is coming off of the immediate transaction, no 3rd party. If it's to earn circle rewards for next time, 3rd party generally work to earn but not to spend.

Some of the offers coming up this week specifically say, "with your redcard" so you absolutely would have to use the redcard with those offers. If yours doesn't specify that, you can pay with paypal.

If you are doing redcard, you only have to hit the total BEFORE the redcard discount. So, in Hubby's account this week, we had a spend 120, get 15. He did $125 in DGC, which totaled $118.75 after redcard disccount, and he earned the $15 rewards because the pre-redcard total was over $120.

Your $124.99 out of pocket should have met the $125 threshold and triggered your reward. I would definitely reach out. The fact you had two pickup locations should not matter considering it was on the same order. You'll be just fine.

Post #2. Again, everything is in alphabetical order. There is even an image of Target Circle Offers to prevent confusion.
