30 Years of Floral Family Fun

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival may have already taken root in your mind as the time of year when the park is full of beautiful character topiaries, delightful gardens, and delicious menus full of grown goodness … and in 2025, we’re celebrating thirty years of Flower & Garden!
That’s right — three decades of planting, propagating and producing memories between friends and families visiting EPCOT at its springtime best. There’s so mulch to enjoy!

Rock Out with Garden Rocks

EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, Garden Rocks Concert Series

If a milestone anniversary wasn’t exciting enough, let me plant a seed — with the festival, the Garden Rocks Concert Series makes its annual return to the America Gardens Theatre. I’ve harvested the first crop of performer announcements to share with you all today:
  • March 7, 8 – Tommy DeCarlo, former lead singer of Boston
  • March 9, 10 – Air Supply – 50th Anniversary Celebration
  • March 14, 15 – Blue October
  • March 16, 17 – Rick Springfield
  • March 21, 22 – Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone
  • March 23, 24 – 38 Special
  • March 28, 29 – Jason Scheff, Longtime singer of Chicago
Stay pruned to the Disney Parks Blog for the rest of the Garden Rocks Concert Series lineup and more EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival news, coming next year!

Have any of you ever gone on the first day? Is everything up and running right from the start or is there a transition period. I know that Garden Rocks doesn't start until Day 3.

Yes, we've gone the first day. Things are very much up and running from the start. About the only thing is that some of the floral displays get better looking as they grow in further.

I am so excited with these dates. Based on last year's dates, I thought I would miss it by 1 day. But it will be there for my whole trip!!!!

Same here, and we were prepared to have to move our trip forward if we had to. I'm so glad it's the whole time though, F&G is my favorite festival.

We had to shift our March trip up one day to fit this in. We love to go to PO-FQ for Mardi Gras. We are going to try out DHS After Hours (which is on Ash Wednesday). Wanted to sleep in a little on Thursday so we added a extra day and are doing F&G on Friday. We had a discounted package and it took some finagling with the computer and WDW reservations, but we were able to work it out. Really excited for this trip.

If we go the day before, will any of the floral displays be out already? It's not a make or break for us, but did consider pushing our Epcot day one day later (to the start day), but would require some other changes which I'd rather not do.

I have a question regarding the food booths at F&G.... are they pretty similar year to year?

I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos from the last 2 years for an idea of what to expect.

Given a tiny appetite I'm thinking this will be the basis of my meals for my trip.

There are a lot of return items year to year, but also some new items and some discontinued ones. I would say that videos from the last two years are representative of what you can expect. Just don't get too invested in any particular item in case it's not available.

Similar is a good term to describe them. There will be differences as Disney tries out new things and gets rid of some of the old stuff. But in general I'd say they were similar.
