Luminous thoughts

Saw it a few weeks ago and found it okay, not fabulous. It seemed like the water/light motions were repeated over and over again. The fireworks were good but, IMHO, not as striking as the ones from Illuminations. The music was good, not sure I’d call it memorable. And lastly, I really don’t like ugly barges in the lagoon all day.
I’ll try it again when I got back this summer.

Some of the fireworks are impressive. The song choices are odd. What does Toy Story have to do with Epcot? They could’ve done that song from Aladdin, at least that is semi-related. I don’t get making this an IP show, Epcot is the one park not really about IP. And absolutely no need for a sad song in the middle. I go to Disney to have a good time and don’t want to be reminded of people I’ve lost.

Just saw for the first time. AWESOME SHOW.

So emotional. Amazing fireworks. Might be my favorite in the park now. So many teary eyes.

Made me forget Illuminations real quick. Much much better than Epcot forever.

One of the best shows Epcot has ever put on.

Nice job Disney

I wasn't a big fan of HarmoniUS, but Luminous made me wish HarmoniUS was back even with the huge barges. So far, they seem to be striking out. Was not a fan of EPCOT Forever, except the kites and they took those out. HarmoniUS was good IF you were in the right viewing location, but had those ugly barges out all day. Luminous just doesn't do anything for me.

Not worth it at all, IMO. I prefer to take that time and ride Remy's. The shows they've put on since Illuminations are really bad, IMO. This one is no different, and as much as I hated the props on the lagoon for Harmonious, I prefer that show to this one.

I am not a fan of Luminous, it's a big disappointment for me after Harmonious, which I loved despite the barges.

Harmonious was a great show while it was running, but I don't know that I'd trade having to see the barges all day for it. I definitely liked it though. Luminous is good too.

Is Remy's still open when Luminous if going? Or is that only on the late night at Epcot? Come to think of it, couldn't I hop in line for Remi's about 5 minutes before 9:00? How's the line then? All these questions, a reason to look forward to Luminous, should tell you how I feel about the fireworks show.

Is Luminous the current Epcot night time show? I haven't been to Epcot at night/watched an Epcot night time show since Illuminations and not sure I want to make the time for it. The nighttime shows really have been all over the place for years (this girl here is really excited to have HEA back).
