It's so cold this morning that I....

it was 11 degrees this morning when I woke up-now it's a 'toasty' 20 (thankfully it's not windy so no wind-chill factor). it's not projected to get above freezing until sometime NEXT week (so gotta keep those faucets dribbling).

Isn't 40 a bit low for you or is that normal this time of year? I thought you guys stayed a bit above that, even during this time of year. I've never been out that way so I'm only going off what I've read on the internet, so you know how that goes.

The shorts and short sleeves shirt were laid over the back of a chair that is our go to first incursion of the from the South... I live in a unheated cabin and clothes are Cold... so stayed in the PJ'S another hour ... Behavior

now have a puppy house training setup in the garage with turf with a base & wee pads. I clean one set of the turf every day and it sometimes freezes before it drips dry so I sometimes end up with a turf peecicle I need to bring inside to defrost then dry.

The company provides the turf, the puppy provides the pee & freezing temps provide the cicle part

Whenever I talk with my friends from out there all I hear about is the rain, so I guess no rain is a nice change of pace. I guess as long as it doesn't go on for too long. They are out on a repositioning cruise so I haven't talked to them in several weeks.

We were forecast to hit 60 degrees today but we didn't quite make it. It was 58 and sunny when DH and I walked to the grocery store around 2:00 p.m. We wore long-sleeve shirts but didn't need jackets. (I'm going to duck now!)

Yep, that seems to be the consensus from those that live in other states. We can actually have some really nice summers with not much rain at times

I don't know how you do the cold. I know it's just normal for you guys up there, but cold weather just does me in. It hurts and I don't think I could ever get used to it.

It’s sucky for a few days during the extreme cold weather and then back to normal
