Is there a limit on how many times you can move an OBB reservation?

We did the placeholder On Board Booking and picked a cruise to transfer it to and then changed our minds and changed it to a different cruise. We just decided to switch our honeymoon cruise to Norwegian so we aren't going to use the cruise we currently have booked. I don't want to lose the benefit of the OBB and was hoping to transfer it to another cruise. Is there a limit on how many times I can move this reservation?

Don't believe number of times, but remember the sailing has to be done within the time frame you agreed to with the OBB.

Yep, it can be moved or changed as many times as you want, but you must ultimate embark within the 24 month window of when the OBB was originally made onboard.

For the deadline of when the window closes, could the day the ship leaves be the last day of the 24 month window? Or does the whole cruise have to fall in it?

I do not believe this is true. Are you referring to a DCL agent, or your travel agent? If the latter, they were probably thinking of another line's policy. If the former, the agent could simply have had wrong information (which does happen).

I've definitely moved cruises that were booked with the OBB and kept the discount (most lately within the past month). I can't recall whether or not I moved a single cruise more than once. I have never been told that I only had one chance to make the change.

About a month ago I moved one of mine that I’d already moved twice before. I think the agent was mistaken.

We've never been told that and have moved one of ours multiple times. We did sail within 24 months. Maybe call and ask someone else?

I was moved twice. First from front of deck 2 to mid deck 2. I paid for 2020 but then they moved me to 2050’s I wanted a certain size window so that was fine. But then about a day before we sailed we were moved to deck 5?
So you can be moved more than once. I have been moved more than once. It’s was only a problem because they told me so late that I couldn’t tell me FE groups where I was. I was able to reach a few but mostly disappointed that they didn’t find me.

I think you might be talking about a GTY room assignment...? The PP was asking about changing the date of a placeholder multiple times.

@Cfabar1 AFAIK the only limitation is the 24-month expiration. You can change the date as often as you'd like until then; if the fare for the new date costs more than you've already paid in deposit(+$250) then you'll have to pay more deposit.
