If money were no object - what city/state would you live in?

If I'm staying the States...I used to think that if I could I'd go back to Philly, but now I think I'd stay in New Jersey, which surprises even me. I'd want to still be close to the city, though. Maybe I'd move to a nice town like Voorhees or Washington Township. I'd have a shore house in Wildwood, too.

If I'm moving out of the country I'd probably go to London. I feel in love with that city when I visited there many years ago.

IF $$$ were no object......................I would travel continuously for a year to really get a feel for places and then I would look to buy at least 4 homes so I could travel to the places I truly loved!
I would definitely have a winter and summer home. I think Summer would be most likely be Jackson Hole, Wyoming or Cour d lane, Idaho. Florida in the Winter. I'd probably spend 3 months a year traveling and cruising.

If money were no object why would the OP be concerned about neighbors living close to them? Everyone has their price and you could just buy them out. In fact you could buy the entire state of California if money were no object.

If money were no object you wouldn't have to put up with any mess.
You bring up a good point. I would have my multimillion dollar house or penthouse apartment on the water, my yacht and my limo to the airport when I wanted to travel. I don't think what went on outside my bubble would even matter.

Shore house in Wildwood would be my dream, too. Ideally Wildwood Crest! That's where I grew up vacationing.

I'd also love a house at a warmer beach during the winter months :)

I'd have to have a large old Victorian while there are still some left in Wildwood, with many bedrooms to put family. My grandparents lived in North Wildwood all year round, right by Anglesea. I grew up spending all of my childhood summers with them.

London 🇬🇧 I'm a city girl and love the convenience. I'm very lucky that I was able to go to London twice in the past year, and I just love that city. It's so easy to get around, feel very comfortable. Then I'll have a vacation homes in Bordeaux🇫🇷 and Lake Como.🇮🇹

Exactly. And you wouldn't have the penthouse. You would have the entire building. Also you wouldn't have your own airport with your own airplane.

So if someone shows up at your house and offers you a billion dollars you wouldn't move? I don't believe you.

if someone offered a billion dollars than they are recognizing what I already know-that my land and home are unique and neither it's attraction to wildlife nor it's views can be replicated. a billion dollars would'nt find me what I already have.
