I love credit cards so much! v6.0 - 2023 (see first page for add'l details)

When do SW RR for hotel bookings post? When the hotel is booked or when the hotel stay is completed?
There's two different sets of RR points that can post, 1) SW credit card RRs, and 2) SW Hotels RRs.
Through the SW Hotel portal, these are prepaid hotel stays and these are the cc RRs that show up on your SW cc statement close date (obvs you have to pay with a SW cc for this). If the chosen SW Hotel also is offering bonus RRs for the stay, then those post after the stay is complete.

Earlier this year I booked a hotel using a SW Biz Performance card thru the portal and got 3xRRs. I booked a refundable rate, and cancelled down the road, and those 3xRRs were clawed back.

I didn’t get the 10% Chase Office Depot offer when others got it last week, today it popped up on one of my Freedom cards max $10 back. 5% offer on my Disney card.

I went and looked at my Chase Freedom after reading your post and I have 15% up to $10, on 3 cards plus 10% off on 4 more cards.
Disney card, CIU, CIC, Freedom, Hyatt, and IHG biz and IHG personal.
Originally I had 1 10% offer yesterday on CIC.

It's now worth the drive.

Nice! That’s pretty great to have it on all. :)

And in other happy news, Amex gave me a Lowes offer! I'd been checking every day and finally it showed up. It's $30 off $120 spend and can do it twice before Dec 31. In other numbers, spend $240 get $60 back, which is 25% off plus the points for the spend. I got it on my Amex Bonvoy. That card slowly pays for itself in addition to the FNC.

Heads up before you refer someone on Pepper. I wanted to earn a bonus by referring DH to pepper to use his Amex offer. For some reason it wants him to upload his ID. I did some googling and seems that they do that for some referrals. Maybe they recognized we were in the same household? No chance I’m uploading his ID so no bonus for us I guess.

You reminded me I have a heads up about Pepper, too.

I used 20K Pepper rewards to get $10 to use at a local restaurant that appears on the app. Once redeemed for that purpose the app tells you to tell the server that "you are paying through Pepper." Well, the server and the manager and nobody at the restaurant have any idea what that means or what Pepper is. The $10 are now stuck at the restaurant, they show on my app as can only be used there. But they have no idea how to charge me through Pepper. This was weeks ago and I messaged Pepper to let them know and to ask for help but never heard back...

Oh no that’s not good. TBH I didn’t even look into how you redeem, I assumed it was easy peasy just redeem for a GC like I do with top cash back.

When you have offers on that many cards do you try and knock them out in one trip? I'm usually good to try three cards on one trip. If I do more than that I feel like they are looking at me odd.

Does anyone know if the Chase 15% off Office Depot offer works for buying gift cards online…there aren’t any stores by me and I have the offer on some cards….

My OD never lets me do more than 1 purchase a day. The manager is ALWAYS there and ALWAYS yells at me when I ask. There's one cashier that recognizes me and if she has the opportunity to whisper to me when the manager is going on break, I can come back the same day. Otherwise no dice.

That is crazy. I can see if you buying thousands of Visa GC but if you are buying a couple hundred Disney not allowing it is crazy

Yeah, it's really frustrating. She thinks I'm running some kind of scam. Exactly what kind of scam a person runs buying 3 or 4 $110 DGC every few months (because I usually have 10% up to $11 offers), she is unable to explain.

OMG! This makes me feel better! Mine isn’t the manager, the manager is actually very cool about selling me gift cards. It was an older lady that absolutely refused to sell me 2 $20 DGC in separate transactions. I was trying to use the Biz Gold $20 credit on 2 Gold cards. She told me she could only sell me 1 gift card a day 🙄 even if it was only $20. She then tried to ring up both cards in the same transaction, and rolled her eyes when I told her no I only wanted one. I was frustrated, and now if she’s working I just turn around and walk out.

It helps me put spend on the FNC cards although I have a few cards I didn't get it on.

$10 x 7 cards = $70 discount plus $10.51 in approx minimum point value for $601 in gift cards.

Hopefully the OD actually has some cards when I get there!
I would wait if you could for when they offering the $15 off $300 in V/MC deals then use the V/MC at BJ's/Sam's or somewhere else to buy the disney cards.
