Same. We have more than enough points after buying some direct with the incentives last summer. If there is another great direct deal at some point I may add on, but I'm less interested in the resort anymore.

Pretty much my take too. I'm a resale/direct hybrid owner with my points split equally between both of my contracts. I'm interested in staying at LSL and checking it out, but mostly glad that I bought direct so that we have the option to stay at new resorts like this one. Doubtful I'll buy direct again unless there is a fairly awesome direct deal that rivals the VGF deal from a couple years ago!
If you want to stay at CS, most of the year regular bookings (with various discounts) are less the the point value of "most" DVC rooms (except maybe Value over at AKV, Standard at BWV, and OKW). The only time they seem to really go up in price is when conferences are there, which is becoming less common (thanks, Zoom!). I just looked at a random mid-week date in July (with Passholder discount) - $277 for standard room, not in the tower. (In the last two years, I've found rooms here at under $200.). If I need a last minute extra day (to extend a DVC stay) and can't get a DVC room, this is where I go. More quiet than Pop or AllStars. Plus sangria at three bridges. The best gym anywhere on property. Toledos is great and on the dining plan. And a nice walking path. Downside, busses only.
