Hilton Grand Vacations or Fairfield Seaworld or Vistana Villages ?

I have booked at both, hoping for lower rates and keeping my eyes on them before my trip.
My dates are May 8-16th, 2 Adults and 2 Kids (9 and 6)

All resorts give us the 1 bedroom with sofa bed that we want

We are on a tight budget.

Hilton Pros for us:
Kitchen for us to have microwave meals and breakfast
Bigger lounge area and larger sofa bed for the kids
Larger pool and nicer grounds - we plan to spend a few days and afternoons at the pool

Fairfield Pros for us:
Free breakfast
Cheapest of all 3

Vistana Villages pros for us:
Really nice pool areas
Nicest looking rooms (we would get the "smaller" villa)
Cheaper than the Hilton


The Hilton and Vistana seem to have better reviews online, being on a budget I like the idea of the provided breakfast at Fairfield - we usually have toast or cereal so the breakfast they have is ample, and it's also cheaper, but I don't like the look of the pool. It looks small and is just surrounded by the road and concrete.

Vistana seems like it may be a bit further away - we don't have a car so will be strictly using Ride Share or maybe the trolley (I prefer ride share)

We were at HGVC Sea World in a one bedroom unit in April 2024.

• HGVC has some kids' activities, which might also be true at Vistana Villages.
• There is an in-unit washer and dryer at HGVC, and probably also at Vistana.
• HGVC has an onsite store and restaurant. You can also walk to the 7-11 convenience store nearby. The bus stop for the International Drive Trolley bus is just outside the gate.
• HGVC has golf carts with drivers that will take you to and from your unit with luggage, swimming gear, or if you just want a ride.
• On the downside at HGVC, the shower is basically missing a wall on one side, so there will be water everywhere. Its a very strange setup.
• The tap water tasted terrible at HGVC. I bought a big water bottle at 7-11 and managed to carry it back.
• You probably don't get a balcony at Fairfield.

Thank you this is great info, I didn't see anything on the website about the in room laundry at HGVC Seaworld but I did at Vistana. I'll check some more videos to see if the room category we are looking at has it as it would be HUGELY beneficial to us.

The stacked washer/dryer are in the little hallway space between the kitchen and bathroom.

Even if your HGVC unit is a different floor plan, there is a shared laundry room for the resort.

thanks, I took a look online and yes the room we booked does have one. I'm now ruling out the Fairfield, the washer/dryer trumps the included breakfast for us.

Other things we like about the HGVC SeaWorld is the balconies are screened in and have a table for 4, there is a playground for the kids, and it is walkable to SeaWorld.
