I know it’s a bit off topic, but I love hearing about bucket list travel plans and why, if anyone wants to share. I think it goes along with the spirit of the Hallmark movies, sharing time with the people you love 💖

That's a great bucket list! I've been to the Truman and Eisonhower's libraries/museums as well (would love to see the others you mentioned -- love Teddy too!). Truman moved into my top 5 fave presidents after that visit. I've been to other presidential sites, like the Lincoln museum, Mount Vernon, Monticello, Polk's house and Jackson's Hermitage. There's a few others I'd like to visit. I'm kinda kicking myself that I've never been to Carter's library as many times I've been to Atlanta. (Side note: my son hopes to work with one of the presidential museums someday. He's worked for the National Archives for a couple of years. If he ever gets the opportunity to move to one of the libraries, I know he'll jump on it.)

And I completely agree with wabbott's advice on the national parks. I visited a lot of parks and sites in the western U.S. and they are so memorable. Should my kids ever bless us with grandkids, that's a future bucket list item... a national park adventure each summer with Grandma & Grandpa. :hippie:

I've been lucky to travel all over the U.S; from two huge road trips in a camper with my dad when I was a teen, several military moves, and annual family vacations to attend GIJoe conventions. We've traveled widely with our kids, but only in the U.S. My main bucket list includes overseas destinations. I'd love to go back to Iceland. DH was stationed in England at the beginning of his career and wants to show me a few things there (and see some of his old friends). I also want to go to Egypt (lifelong fascination). So yeah... I don't know where all we'll end up, but I'm ready for some adventures. :)

Saving Paris was another great movie for the Passport to Love series. Bethany was great as always. There were lots of great characters, like the apartment-mate, the French playboy, the mom, .... and I really liked the male lead. He was perfect with his grumpy personality! I'll watch this one gain too! :)

BTW, found an article for this movie too: https://heavy.com/entertainment/hallmark/savoring-paris/

The sneak peaks for next week's Greece movie looked fun, too.

New movie for Saturday:

A new Passport to Love destination movie. This movie stars Danielle C. Ryan, formerly known as Danielle Chuchran who starred in the great movie Love Finds You in Charm, the movie that made Trevor Donovan a Hallmark household name. But, while being known for her squeaky clean, Amish character may have helped Danielle star in a lot of UPtv movies, perhaps that that type of role may not have helped her to land other types of roles? Thus she's going by her middle name now as her last name.

A Greek Recipe for Romance is on the Hallmark Channel at 8pm ET/PT.

Re-airs:
Sunday June 16 at 7/6c
Thursday June 20 at 9/8c
Sunday June 23 at 1/12c

Starring: Danielle C. Ryan and Rafael Kariotakis.
Description: After a recent setback, Abby heads to Greece to visit her mom and decide what's next. While there, she meets Theo and they team up to open a restaurant. But will Abby be able to stay?

We are watching “ Tipline Mysteries, Dial 1 for Murder” and there was an ad for a new show of Signed Sealed and Delivered on July 12. I hope it’s really a new show!

I just saw an ad for it. YES! It's a new Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie.🎊 🎉 It's called: Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters. 🥰

Hallmark Mystery is playing Christmas movies (Merry Movie Week, maybe?) through June 28th. Just what I needed to feel a bit cooler in the midst of all this heat!

I wonder why they didn't advertise this? :confused3 I hope this isn't the only time the Christmas movies are on on Hallmark Mystery. They have different movies than the Hallmark Channel.

New movie for TONIGHT - Saturday:

This is the last new movie in the Passport to Love series and the last new summertime Hallmark movie for a while as we head into Hallmark's Christmas in July! 🎄 Although Christmas in July actually starts on Friday, June 28. 🥰

Two Scoops of Italy is on the Hallmark Channel at 8pm ET/PT.

Re-airs:
Sunday June 23 at 7/6c
Wednesday June 26 at 9/8c
Friday June 28 at 6/5c

Starring:[/B] Hunter King and Italian actor Michele Rosiello.
Description: When an American chef travels to a quaint village in Italy for inspiration, she falls in love with the flavors, culture, gelato, and the Italian gentleman who helps her discover it all.

Ryan Paevey announced he is stepping away from acting and shifting his focus to other things.

🙁
Full details below. Ryan sent this as an exclusive to Heavy.com and it is verified on his Instagram.

"Hey everyone…so first and foremost, I am a bit apprehensive that I even have to make a statement like this. I am certainly accustomed to a certain degree of gossip, but the past few weeks in particular have gotten out of control with speculation from third parties that have taken my words and expanded upon them to meet their narrative, or flat out misrepresented my words or misconstrued their meaning. I have always been an open book, and one who speaks his mind truthfully and directly, and it is unfortunate that we live in a world where social media makes it very easy to twist one’s words; I am often unaware it is even happening until someone from my team messages me in a panic, and so I feel it best to make a formal statement through HEAVY.
As I’ve stated before, I am taking a step back from acting, something I’ve felt I’ve needed to do for a while now, and a decision proven to be absolutely necessary in the past few weeks. The industry hasn’t felt like the place for me in quite some time now, and my mental health has suffered from it. It’s taken me to a bit of a dark place, made me into a version of myself I don’t like very much. I’ve vented some of my anger and frustration publicly, and for that I apologize. I’ve had many years of smooth sailing, and am very lucky to be able to say that, but the waters have been much rougher the last year or so. I know I am not unique in this; it seems nearly EVERYONE, in Hollywood or not, is going through troubled times to some degree. I’ve had bank accounts hacked, money embezzled, investments stolen….things that, while difficult, can be recovered from. But after all that, my mother was diagnosed with lung cancer. I left Los Angeles to be closer to her, and feel the need to devote more of my time, energy, and resources closer to home.
Please don’t think for a second that it’s “all bad news”. I have so, so much to be grateful for. I am grateful to this industry as a whole, I am grateful to General Hospital for giving a green actor a chance and tolerating his learning curve, to Hallmark for changing my life and taking me to places that have become my favorite on Earth, to my managers for seeing something in a grunt with no resume and helping to architect a whole new trajectory and life for him, and to all of YOU who have helped raise up this handyman and bartender and taking him on a decade long adventure the likes of which he never imagined. I have so much to be thankful for, and not a day goes by that I don’t think that thought.
All this to say, I am simply shifting focus closer; to family. I have found another fulfilling creative endeavor in Fortunate Wanderer, and have plans to expand it, begin adventuring more, and share those adventures in the hopes that we will all remain connected, and I will share more about that once I myself have a clearer picture of how to do it. I know this was a lot, but I wanted you all to hear it directly from me. Thank you, so much, for sharing this journey with me, and here’s hoping there’s more ahead for us all."

Beautiful cinematography of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. We went last year about this time and can attest that it is a must-see attraction.

You were so right! Beautiful views of Niagara Falls! I think I may need to add zip-lining Niagara Falls to my bucket list. :scratchin

I liked the movie, BTW. I kept waiting for Dan Jeannotte to break out in a French accent though. It took me half the movie to get used to his normal voice. He was a lot more loose in this movie, which was fun to watch. :)

So, earlier this week I saw one of my former teaching buddies. She was telling me about her upcoming summer vacation she's planning with a couple of friends to Niagara Falls. Almost immediately, I was like ...

Me: You're going to Niagara Falls? You have to do the ziplining there!
Her: We are! I've already looked it up!
Me: It looks like so much fun! I saw it in a movie!
Her: So did I! On Hallmark?
Me: Yes! Hallmark!

I've decided the Hallmark Channel qualifies for vacation planning research. :cool1:

I watched Love in Niagara Falls. Out of all the Passport to Love and the recent location movies, I really liked this one the best. I love how Niagara Falls is really the third element in the movie. They didn't just shoot it in the background a couple times. They really featured the place.

My family went there when I was rather young. I remember how big the falls were, but that's about it. It wasn't a place I would go to again. This movie made me re-think that. It looks like a spectacular place, seen from different angles.

I agree Niagara Falls is wonderful, and I loved the Hallmark movie filmed there. DH and I spent our honeymoon there, so special, and it was the year the American Falls water was “shut off” so engineers could check it out. A funny coincidence, a few years ago we shared a table in World Showcase with a couple who had visited the Falls the same summer. Our daughter and her hubby are visiting there this summer.

Go. One day you'll be too old and decrepit to travel and will have regrets about where you didn't go and what you didn't do. Mrs wabbott had always wanted to go ever since seeing the Marilyn Monroe/Joseph Cotten movie Niagara.

Most interesting to me was the boat trip up next to the falls where you could feel the power of the falling water, and you understand why engineers were eager to harness that power for electric generation and milling.

Awww.... I'll miss him! Such an eloquent explanation and farewell. I wish him well (and his mom) but I do hope we see his return to Hallmark. :)

There are just several other places I'd love to go to, or go back to that are priorities. So many wonderful places on this earth. So little time.

Ryan mentioned at the very bottom this possible plan, "begin adventuring more, and share those adventures in the hopes that we will all remain connected, and I will share more about that once I myself have a clearer picture of how to do it."

I'm thinking, maybe, once his mom is well again and he no longer has to stay so close to home, he may be a "content creator" on social media. He may have already realized he has such a large fan base, that when they read his posts he's been making some money from those clicks. He may be thinking about doing that in a more intentional way, through an adventure travel vlog.

There is an RV van vlogger that I had clicked on once when she popped up on my YouTube feed. I was really intrigued about her RV style life, (even though it definitely isn't for me.) I started following along. By then, (a couple years previous,) she had already met a fellow, male RVer on the road, and they started hanging together when they'd bump into each other, and then started traveling together. Each in their own separate vans and would meet up at the end of the day and camp together.

They are such a cute couple. We watched as they got married 10 months ago, and buy a house to finally settle down. She immediately got pregnant. There may be some complications during the delivery. So, they went back into their vans to stay closer to a specialized neo-natal hospital in San Diego, CA. Since they were so used to van life, it was no big deal for them to pack up their vans to go there. She finally entered the hospital a few days ago, to spend the finally days there before the birth.

I NEVER would have thought I'd get into a vlog like that. But we've all been along this journey with them and wishing them well. 🤞🙏🥰 And this is someone I had never seen before that first vlog post. She's been making enough money via all those clicks.

Ryan has more of a fan base. His jewelry always sells out. So I can see him making a life just doing those two things. I hope he will also make an occasional Hallmark movie again. It only takes about 3 weeks to make one.
