The NYP says they are close to the same price as before, with name brand turkeys down 2% and store brand up 5%, but the Finance Buzz article says turkey prices are down 12%. It probably depends a lot on where you live. I think I paid about the same as last year, but got a couple of pounds of extra turkey for the price (22 vs 24 pounds). Unfortunately any savings with the turkey will probably be offset by increases in the other items. I have been buying non perishable items when they went on sale the last couple of months to help with the cost.Since you find it interesting here is what I found with a quick look on Google, you are welcome

How many points do I get if I can't remember any of them.
I like how Shop Rite has about 7 or 8 choices for a free or discounted item. This year I noticed they added Dolly Parton family size frozen mac & cheese.View attachment 913202
If you spend $400 over 5 weeks, you get the free turkey. They offer other options as well.
Every year I give thanks to Shoprite.
