Ok, so there are at least two bakeries in Waialua/Haleiwa that I really like. The one that I prefer to go to (its closer to my sister's house and has more local kine) is Paalaa Kai Bakery ... its a local favorite but not near the touristy area ... its by a bunch of houses, so you'll have to trust whatever GPS you are using

The second one I like but don't go do that much because its in Haleiwa town (with all the new changes, I don't go there much anymore ... doesn't remind me of my childhood much anymore
... sorry some change just aren't good in my opinion) .. any who ... the other one is Waialua Bakery & Juice Bar, don't let the name confuse you, its actually in Haleiwa town, not Waialua

SOOOOOOO .. North Shore is famous for its shrimp ... are you intersted in the Shrimp trucks? How far north do you plan on going? That's important because there are trucks up and down the North Shore ... Do you plan to go as far north as Kahuku? Or do you plan on staying around Haleiwa and Pupukea? Maybe hit Shark's Cove? and no futher? which might be a good idea because traffic is HORRIBLE up past Haleiwa town ...
