Hi:
I want to book a DVC studio not in the Tower. My son and DIL stayed in a studio that I booked for them a couple of years ago and they loved it. It was in the building that is by the quiet pool. I am not familiar with the DVC Poly buildings. We have always stayed at OKW, our home resort. It would be great if someone could tell me which DVC building is near the quiet pool.
Thank you.

The one that starts with an T. The P long house is near parking and the M is the MK view with a guy that runs the machine to rake the sand at 7am. LOL

The 3 circled buildings are the DVC longhouses (the Tower would be right outside tis picture to the left). The rooms are all studios. If you book a studio villa that is not in the tower, it will be in one of these buildings. The front side of Moorea facing the water is the water view. All of the other rooms are in the resort view category.

I love the longhouses because the rooms are large and very functional, plus the location is awesome. Right next to TTC yet easy to enjoy everything else at Poly resort.

Thank you! I’m trying to decide I should book Poly tower or longhouses I’m looking for quiet nights since I don’t sleep well on vacation - any suggestions?

I would think the longhouses will be quieter unless you do preferred which I think people have reported you can hear the ferry.

I don’t stay there very often

We just stayed at a non-preferred DVC longhouse studio (Tokelau building). It was very quiet at night. Construction sounds started up around 9am. They were doing something along the walkway outside our balcony.

So if you book a preferred studio will you be in the Moorea building? Can you see the fireworks from any of these building? What is a good room request? We were able to get preferred view.

Many request 3rd floor but because if that, many won’t get!

But yes, I think the majority see them! Some First floor rooms can be blocked by bungalows.

Is third floor the highest floor? I will put in my request, do you recommend Moorea building for best view? Thanks!

All the Preferred view (previously Lake view) longhouse studios are in Moorea. I’d request high floor (because second or third would be fine) and hope not to get the first floor view of bungalows.
Thank you were so excited to stay there for the first time!

Yup, some folks book preferred only to get the bungalow view. I booked preferred once and was lucky to get 3rd floor middle of the longhouse. Never tempted fate again! Now I book standard view and request Tokelau… end studios actually have fireworks view from the balcony… have gotten this a few times.

I will do that next time! Sometimes I question these room categories. Some poly island tower preferred views i lve seen on touring plans do not look very preferred lol while some have beautiful lake views
