We're been there 2-3 weeks at a time, 4 times in the last 5 years and I have to agree this has been our experience too. Sure there is always the occasional inconsiderate neighbor - but heck, that's true of the world in general. FW is just a much more condensed environment where we're all practically shoulder to shoulder and residing in little boxes that are far from soundproof.
Anyone that has dealt with inconsiderate dog owners has my utmost sympathy. It totally stinks, and of course it's the humans' fault, not the dog's. I would hope that most folks here would fall into the "considerate" category... and also would help try and nicely educate those they come across that don't quite "get it."
Of course some will never get it, and some just don't give a rat's @$$ about their neighbors. I'd be willing to bet those folks are like that whether they're at FW or at home. And sadly, they're the ones that ruin it for the rest of us.... and who also tend to stand out the most amongst all our experience with our camping neighbors.
Of course all this would be helped greatly if Disney would just enforce their own rules when it comes to pets at campsites. There's nothing more aggravating than hearing of those cases where people tried to be nice and talk with the owners of those yappy dogs and got nowhere with them <grrr>, and when they called the front desk the best Disney had to over was to move the folks that called!
Now..... did someone say beer?!
