Resort Thread Disney's Club Level (CL) Thread

What's the over/under that @trishachanges her reservation again before the trip? You are the undisputed queen of resort changers. I think it was you that once changed your reservation as the plane was landing at MCO. 😂Sounds like such a fun trip, like a mother/daughter baby moon of sorts!
And…. Now I’m poly Studio Lake view which is Moorea. Then move to GVCL @ poly the next day. Easy for our party night and easy to move next morning.

@Dave006 says, there’s always 2026, 27, 28….for SSR🤔😅🤣

@BlueSkies nope GV is cheap lol for CL I’m keeping it this time!

You are right it is our mom n me baby moon -ish.

I think this is our last trip until we bring baby,

Doesn’t mean DH and I can’t go tho!

The lake view studio is the same-ish to Hawaii lagoon/tpv. However price is about $800 less a night with AP discount.👍

I absolutely love the Animal Kingdom Club area/rooms. I haven't tried others because its the only one I see DVC offers w/ my points. I wish they offered other resort Club rooms under DVC Points.

I felt the same way and then finally broke down and booked CL rooms at both WL and YC for two weekend stays with cash instead of points. With AKL as our home resort, having the perk of using points for CL is definitely nice, but if you ever get the opportunity to try another CL resort out, I highly recommend it. We loved WL and would stay CL there again in a heartbeat!

We bought Copper Creek points for the club they had initially. Reunion or something like that. You had to pay per day. We did it once and really really enjoyed it. Then they canceled it. Boo.

We also traded into Disney Collection to book the Grand Destino tower club level and really liked that too. Now with this new member magic plus thing starting next year, where we pay something to get extra MM perks and one is to trade in for free (no $95 trade in fee)....we will get that and do a couple more Disney Collection Club level trade ins. Would love to get over to Yacht Club if they have club level. We just do 1 night. Point cost is high.

Has anyone used the Signature Services email to ask a question recently? I sent one and the answers I got back really seem like they were written by AI. I know they’ve invested a lot in Hey Disney and I wonder if they’ve turned the email side of guest services over to AI too.

When I email them I always get an automated response shortly afterward. Then I'll get a full response from an actual SS CM at a later time. Usually the second response is within 24 hours but sometimes it takes up to 48 hours. The last time that I emailed them was about three weeks ago, so fairly recently.

One difference that I do notice now, is that years ago if I sent an email to signature services I could continue to converse with the same cast member if a back and forth was required. Now, if I have to respond to their reply to my query I'll get a different cast member each time. It's definitely not as personal. I used to often get a follow up phone call after I checked in from that same cm asking me if everything was to my satisfaction. That hasn't happened in ages.

I did recently email about a food allergy and club level. A person responded back, but it was pretty apparent that they copied and pasted a response from Disney Dining Services because I've actually seen some of the exact phrasing in an email from dining services when asking about a dessert party and food allergies and diabetic options.

Yeah, it seemed very copy paste at best. Maybe there is a real person but they’re either copying pre-scripted responses or AI responses. And likely not using native English speakers or AI based on the grammar errors. Just seems like for what concierge rooms cost we could at least get a real human who demonstrates some capacity to take initiative.

Rats: they're opportunists and who wouldn't enjoy spending some time on Disney grounds pirate: I've seen one scurrying in MK and saw another meet an untimely demise as he was strolling through WS looking for crumbs. Done in by a senior who wasn't watching the walkway in the evening hours.

Oh my. I never watch the walkway. I'm going to have to start walking with a flashlight lol. I'm going to assume it was a mouse not a big rat if stepping on it killed it. Not that it's much better. It's not necessary to correct me if I'm wrong 🤣

I won't elaborate but it is seared on my brain, in slow motion, forever. We guarded it while a CM got a dustpan and were rewarded with free sodas.

Can you see the fireworks at all from Wilderness Lodge club level lounge, even partially? Do they play the music? Thanks!
