Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend 2025 (September 4-7)

I've ran multiple WDW races, but this will be my first one at Disneyland, so exciting. Even more so now that I've also signed up for Wine and Dine so will be getting my coast-to-coast medal as well .
What is the situation for spectator viewing in Disneyland? Is there viewing at the start and finish lines? Do they allow spectators into the parks, like they do on Main Street in Magic Kingdom, before the parks open?

For the Half Marathon, there is also spectator viewing outside the parks along the course.

Did I sign up for yoga just because it reopened even though I haven't done yoga in years and I wasn't super into it then? Yes, because I have FOMO and people I've talked to said they enjoyed it the last DL race weekend.

It’s not intense at all. It’s gentle yoga so you won’t be doing anything difficult or super bendy.

Still hoping for a random 10k registration for DD, but have DS and DW doing the 10k and DS and I doing the half. Haven't seen many 10k slots come across the alerts.

Race you to one that opens...... Actually, I just decided to try and pick up a registration for either the 5k or 10k. Have an unused 3 day PH and figure that would be a good time of year to use it and also go to LA for a few days. (All this would be way easier if I had had this inspiration during regular registration.)

Southwest is having a sale right now. I was able to book a flight into SNA (9/3-9/8) and save around $60.

considering this, anyone know expo times. we probably can't be there until early evening Friday (or at least not all of us) so I'm hoping expo is open past 5 or 6. Otherwise, I might need to come separately to pick up for DW who can't get off until maybe 2 from school.

I think the expo is usually open till 8PM on Fridays. If I remember correctly

I think it was open until 8pm. Even if it closed earlier, though, you can't pick up someone else's bib.

yeah, I would have to bring kids earlier for their bibs, but if expo is open until 8 then we all can go.

DW is the tricky one. we'll just have to book hoping for 7 or 8 and adjust later if needed.

With the recent announcement about Disneyland race hiatus, I'm glad that I registered for the this year Halloween half or else I have to wait for a very long time.
