Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend 2025 (September 4-7)

Hello friends! If you're registered and ready to book your Disneyland Resort Hotel, there's good news!

Disneyland website has released a 30% Room Offer available for the 70th Anniversary Celebration with applicability for Halloween Half run weekend:

Oogie Boogie Bash dates are also posted if interested to help plan your trip dates:

For the Oogie Boogie Bash , will rides be operating for this event?
Yes, the rides in DCA operate during the event. I'm pretty sure everything was working when we went this past October. It was the shortest I've ever waited for Radiator Springs Racers. Around 9:30 the wait said 45 but it was really closer to 25 from when we entered to when we loaded into the car. And the line kept getting shorter behind us, so I know people who got in line after waited even less.

Posting in here because this came up on FB in one of the groups. If anyone is wondering if an afternoon game might cause us to miss Angels. The precedent says no. We went through Angels in 2015 with an afternoon at-home game, which started at 12:35. This game is scheduled for 1:07. As long as they have their ducks in a row, we should be in and out with enough time for the game to start without us interfering going by this.

DD wants to do the 10k, I'll see if i can get her a registration. I would upgrade from half to challenge. Is there any pattern to the additional 10k slots opening or is it somewhat random? I've signed up for alerts.

The challenge sold out at some point today. I went ahead and registered for the half!

Hi all! My husband is running the half. I was curious, how are the crowds in the park usually on that weekend? Are wait times better leading up to the races, or after? Thanks! We are excited about this run. He has wanted to do one for a long time but it has never worked with the kids school schedules. Super excited.

The crowds weren't terrible last year but that's because it was so hot. The wait times overall were pretty low, we had purchased LL for Friday and barely used it since waits were so short and we didn't purchase it again for the rest of the weekend. Just be prepared for the heat, drink lots of water/electrolyte beverages, and take breaks in air conditioning.

I agree, I had lightning pre purchased and it wasn't worth it, the heat really kept the lines down.

Oh great! Thank you. Our 25th anniversary is that Tuesday, so we were planning on extending our stay until Wednesday. Super excited.

With Disneyland trying to get more people to visit for Halloween, it may be very crowded. However, heat will definitely suppress the crowds. It's worth noting here that heat can vary. 2024 was extremely hot with daily temperatures around 105-110 degrees. The races started around 75 degrees at 5:30am.

What I'm really trying to say is it will likely be warm to hot, but that does not guarantee the 105-110 degrees we had in 2024.

I’m really hoping you’re right. Following the warm (and very persuasive) glow from my first runDisney event last weekend, I signed up for the challenge forgetting the horrible heat from last year. I’m a little terrified and just hoping 2024 temps were a random blight and not the norm 😅🙏🏻
