Just received email regarding Halloween Half Marathon Club benefits. Platinum @ 7:30 am. Gold @ 8:30. Closing and kicking us out @ 9:30

I'm hoping/assuming that's a DL quirk. They've definitely never kicked us out at WDW before.

Hopefully. They do have a lot more crowd size constraints at the DL expo just because of it being in the DL Hotel. Plenty of places to corral excess people at WWoS

The DL Expo in January was chaos in that small space for early entry. Coming out of the expo was hard to navigate with everyone else waiting to go in without Club rD early entry benefits. Imagine this plan is an attempt to streamline the crowds in limited space. Here's hoping it goes well!

Assuming it's in the same place, if you're getting dropped off, the area where cars arrive is actually right next to the corner where they did Club check-in in January. If you're walking, cut straight through the hotel to the back of the lobby.

I wasn't going to buy Club RunDisney but the Silver level is still available, and it's taunting me. I know the benefits with that level aren't great (maybe the jacket is nice, though?) but... if I buy in now I'll have the option to upgrade next year, right? What are the odds I'd be able to upgrade to Platinum level next year?

I think the way it worked this year you basically have to step up for an upgrade, so you'd be able to go to Gold but not Platinum from Silver. I was able to buy directly into Gold this year, but that window only lasted about 20-30 minutes. So you could also just try to grab Gold next time around (for the - - goodness - - 2026 race year) and you'd be in the same position to get platinum in 2027 (minus paying for and getting a year of silver benefits for 2025).

I would be over the moon if early access also included access to the new Brooks shoes! Realistically though, I imagine it won't if Brooks has a separate booth like New Balance used to in the earlier years. Fingers crossed!

I'm guessing no, also because all the rD merch is now in a totally separate building from the rest of the expo. I can see them maybe being on display? But doubtful.

Has anyone seen any hint of the Club runDisney welcome gift boxes yet? Wondering if we maybe have to wait until 2025 for them to show up with the race year to calendar year transition.

If I recall correctly, they only promised to be live at the expo with new Brooks stuff sometime in 2025 — not necessarily at Marathon Weekend. I read it as W&D 2025.

Right, no promise of dates but I would not be surprised if they had some limited items, since it is their flagship weekend. I haven't seen anything about W&D or anything more specific than 2025 even in the Brooks press release.
