Sorry it took so long - I've been so tired with jet lag and work catch up. I think I have good news. Finally got the scoop about a month ago - the docs are merging with another clinic and one of them is moving. I met with the new owners on my way to the airport for vacay and it seems I will still have a job at the brand new digs they are building out! I am feeling blessed. I have some meetings next week that will nail it down, but it looks like everything will be fine. I have been thinking for almost a year that they would sell and I would be a goner.

BTW- If you're barfing "puce" you're really sick because it's actually a mauve-like color (light eggplant? purplish pinkish grayish?). Chartreuse is the greeney-yellowy pukey color.

Thank you for pointing this out. Yes, puce is a mahogany-isy, purpley/brown color in the States, but CAN mean greenish in Britain? But is passe now, and not regarded that anymore from what I gather? You beat me to it.
