Did you look at the public discount for those dates? It may not be as good of a discount. Not sure of your dates of course, but I do see deluxe resorts available for end of April into early May.

Yes, half of my dates are not covered under the room only discount (ends 4/30/25) and the package discount doesn’t have a lot of availability either for deluxes (some have their higher priced rooms, but that’s it).

Ooof just tried to book for end of April/early May and pretty much no deluxe available (didn’t have him check BC/YC due to no pool) and also nothing at CBR. We settled on POFQ for now…. He said it is because we are doing 9 nights and there isn’t a lot of options for a long stay, but if I want to do a split stay that would open up a lot more for me. My husband isn’t a fan of split stays as we’ve done them before, so that’s a bit of a bummer…. Anyone else find it hard to find availability with a longer stay? Maybe I should call back and ask if there is anything for like 7 days then keep trying to add a day on here and there.

UPDATE - I called back and the CM found 7 nights at the resort I wanted (CR garden wing) and then I had her look for the other 2 nights separately at the same resort and same room type was available! So I ended up in the resort I wanted but with 2 reservations. Hopefully won’t need to change rooms since it’s the same room type. So if anyone else runs across the issue of not finding anything, try splitting your stay into two pieces and you might still be able to get all your days!

I did! I wanted 10 nights at either BRV/CCV/WL regular room but could only get 8. I do have a back up for the other nights if I am not able to add on the additional. May also rent DVC points and do a split stay and only use 5 of the nights I have at CCV. I have until September so I'm not going to stress over it!

I updated, but I was able to get the resort I wanted with a 2nt/7nt split. So you should call back and see if you can get the other 2 nights just under a separate reservation

I asked about WL CL for the first week in May & it was not available.

Not available because of the dates? or just not offered at WL for bounce backs? Curious about that. Thanks for your answer!

Looking into booking another BB offer. Has anyone been able to book a WL CL?

I have WL CL on BB booked for May 31 - June 7, 2025. I originally booked it for May 3 - 10, 2025...but called and moved it a few weeks ago.

I called and changed my bounce back. I am reminded of a thread that was on here years ago of disboard folks changing resorts and reservations a lot, and I totally get it, lol. After a bunch of conversations with DH and lots of resort wishes, we switched our TPV Contemporary to WL CL Resort view. We really wanted CL TPV at the Contemporary, but since we couldn't get the CL, we chatted and thus this change! We stayed at WL and loved it, so thought we would go with trying CL there. I hope the construction noise won't be awful there, as we will be doing a few pool days? Any CL Resort View rooms anyone wants to recommend? Thanks for all your support and information!

I just got back from a trip and had already booked my next trip for next year. So, before I call and see if if the offer is available for my dates and room type, are you able to book a bounce-back offer if you rented DVC points for your current stay?

Yes I believe so since you stayed. I don’t think they can tell you rented points, just that you stayed at a DVC resort on points.

As long as you are listed as a guest on the reservation.

First time doing a bounceback since we are DVC. We borrowed all of 2025 and until/if we buy an additional contract(s), I wanted an option for 2025. Since we go in October (here now at Poly), only dates are 10/26-10/31 (6 nights 2025). I was unable to get PIT, BCV, BWV, WL. We took AKV Jambo House studio total $2693.26. CM did her darndest to book a package because it was "only" $200 deposit. I had to explain we have been DVC for almost three decades and the deposit was not an issue. I'll cancel if we end up with another contract with 2024 and/or 2025 points. Just had to put the brakes on all this borrowing LOL!
