Best restaurant at Portofino Bay ?

dh and I are styaing 4 nights at Portofino Bay in October.
I plan on having dinner at Emirils (already booked)
other night - I dont know....
and one night we want to have dinner at Portofino Bay, but unsure which restaurant is the BEST..?
2 adults, looking for the best dining experience available at the hotel... thanks for your help

if you have any suggestions for a third dinner as well, I'm ope to suggestions, I was thinking maybe something fun like margaritaville!

I would say Delfino Riviera or Mama Della's. If you are looking for an elegant Italian meal go with Delfino. They are closed on Sunday and Monday and you should make a reservation. It is described as "The essence of Ligurian cuisine with emphasis on freshness of product, elegance of service and decor with the warmth of Italian culture". Casual dress. They have a guitarist.

Mama Della's is one of my favorites. It is described as "Mama invites you to dine in her "home", where each room offers warmth and a personality all its own. The family style menu includes Italian specialties from Tuscany, Naples and Piemonte". Casual Dress. Strolling musicians. I would also make sure I had a reservation if you pick Mama's.

I second that on Mama Della's only because Defino i have not eaten at yet! We love momma's my husband and i will be back over labor day and eating with mama again. Defino and Emeril's is just to complex for my palette. I love a great dining experience but if i'm paying over 100 for a meal for two i wanna be able to leave at least satified with the meal. Emerils ruined me i will never eat at a place like that agian. It's not all it's hyped up to be imho. I'm sure Defino is excellent like Jessica suggested so if your into that sort of thing go for it. If you like great food with warm friendly folks waiting on you that is also very romantic w/ very well manner childrened possibley there then by all means get a ressie at mama della's.

Delfino Riviera for sure...it is excellent. Very romantic atmosphere, wonderful food and service.

We haven't eaten at Mamma Della's yet...maybe this weekend we will have time.

We had a great time at Margaritaville last summer. We were seated right in front of the band, and could have sat there all night. I would recommend it, we can't wait to return next week. Oh, the food was great too!

We also liked the Latin Quarter. They have entertainment also. Of course my all time favorite restaurant is Mythos is IOA.

Delphino is your best choice for "fine dining" , we ate at the Trattoria which had an Italian style buffet with a roast of beef cut as well. The food was pretty good and in cooler weather the option of dining out in the Piazza is probably very pleasant.

I'd look into Tchoup Chop at RPR though if I wanted top of the range dining. You can take the resort bus service so it's unlikly to take you more than 15 minutes to get there, and a relaxed stroll back if you've eaten too much as we did LOL .
