Need some opinions from you guys. My close friends are heading down for their weddding anniversary and want to have a GREAT meal on their actual day. :thumbsup2

I recommended Victoria & Alberts, but that's a little out of their price range. They have their own car, so anywhere in Orlando is fine, but Disney is preferred.

So where would you guys recommend? They want a nice romantic, relaxing meal, maybe a little bit of dancing? Any ideas?

Thanks for the help! :goodvibes

Would love to know what others think also! DH and I are going for our 5 year anni. in December. Although, we've been to DW a few times before and have our fave restaurants, I'd love to go somewhere a little more romantic.

How about Emeril's place at Universal's City Walk? I heard wonderful things about that.

We have made it a tridition to have dinner at Emeril's every year for our anniversary. This year is Orlando as was 2004. Last year, and next year(2007) Las Vegas. Let them know it's their ann. The manager gave us her favorite table, and it was the best. :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'd pick BlueZoo at the Dolphin. DH & I love it so much, we'd go for a weekend just to eat there. It's sexy chic, the food & service are incredible.

How about driving to Celebration - Cafe D'Antonios is v.good. Reservations normally required for evening.

le bistro de paris in france ws at epcot is very intimate, good food & if you get a table near a window a great view of illuminations. we love le cellier steakhouse at canada ws at epcot superb food, romantic & cozy setting with stone walls & a fireplace. then they can head to atlantic dance at the boardwalk for dancing.

outside of disney, theres the melting pot in orlando which is different (its a fondue restaurant) but its really good (especially dessert) & romantic.

On property, California Grill, Flying Fish, Jiko or Citrico's. Off property, Moonish on Sandlake or Hemingways at the Grande Cypress

I wasn't the OP, but thanks for all the suggestions! Now to figure out how to choose amongst them all! So many great sounding choices! :disrocks:

Emerils has great food, but IMHO is not terribly romantic.

Citrico's might be a good choice, and by dining on property they can share a bottle of wine and take a cab or use WDW transportation to get back to their resort.

DUX at the Peabody is another faubulous and very romantic restaurant.

we've had dinner at Capriccio's at the Peabody, it was absolutely fantastic. I'd love to try DUX, but my wife doesn't venture far from a good steak for a nice dinner. If I order anything lamb or veal, she looks at me like I've just shot Bambi's mother. if you want a break from the bustle at Emeril's try dining upstairs.

That's where we were when we went to Emeril's. Upstairs by the window over looking city walk. It was very quiet, and very laied back. The manager said it was her favorite table. I believe that. We are going to request the same table this year. :grouphug:
