I don't think that "fame" will play any part here. There really aren't that many people that watch garbage TV like this. I've never heard of him and the only reason I know that the show exists is because of shows like @Midnight that make fun of garbage television.

I don't see his "fame" playing a huge part either. Yes, he's more well known that your average person, but it seems to me reality star "fame" doesn't grant the same level of public endearment as we see other famous people get. So many people hate watch those shows . . .

I vaguely remember. . . it was because he locked himself inside his home and wouldn't come out for several hours - like when most of any alcohol would have been out of his system.

These cases are very sad. In our area, we had a few drinking and driving and they killed their friends or hit and killed other drivers. It pits neighbors against neighbors, friends and families against each other, heck a hole town near me took sides, to which they thought who was right or wrong. 45 years in prison for drinking/driving/manslaughter. I am sure this is what he is facing.

As far as I have read he's not being charged with DUI or anything like. In face the family of the victim are asking Soules to charged with very minimal.
