A (no-longer new) training log (comments welcome)

using a garmin training program to guide me on some pacing:
Apr 7 – 13
Total Distance
15.75 mi
Goal: 15.00 mi

I'm not using RWR as much now so my 10k distance Sunday was all slow pace running. interestingly about the same pace as my RWR 10k pace.
 
my garmin just reminded me that I've signed up for a marathon in 33 weeks.

I guess it's time to start planning out the Marathon Training.

Time to find the Higdon book.
 
OK: mating up what I've been doing to train for a backpacking trip with a Higdon base training I'm here at the beginning of the intermediate Base Training and with one gap for a backpacking trip (which will be a whole different type of training) and a family vacation, I'm right at the weekly plan for CIM using the Novice 2 plan.

I do need to find a track or measure some distances on the trail for the speedwork.

I have hills picked out and frankly until our backpacking trip my hill workouts are Sisyphus style hill cycles with a weighted pack, more than running.

I modified one week to show the Halloween half. I need to find another half in October.
