AP discounts up to 35% out 10/2 thru 12/25 today 😀

And these rates are probably why their rooms have not been booked. Unreal!!!

They do seem crazy but I’m finding that other places too. Our usual beach bookings are nearly twice the price of what we’ve paid for the same rooms in the past 5-10 years.

Yeah, we had no discount on Friday-Saturday but I knew that wouldn't be eligible. I was just wondering about the AP discount only being 10% for the other days (the 25th through 31st of October). And surprised to see that Disney Plus gave more than AP. Do they have some greater discounts that then sell out? Or is it just "Up to" because maybe its 35% for one day on one room type, and then mostly 10% for the rest?

They are trying to drive up D+ subscribers.

They have no need to work on increasing AP numbers.

On discounts it is up to each hotel's management how many rooms and which rooms they offer. Possibly they can adjust discount amounts as well.

Yep! You need to have a subscription when booking and when checking in. You could sign up for the monthly rate to book, then cancel, and re-subscribe for the month when you arrive. Probably spend about $20 to potentially save hundreds. Disney Tourist Bl** (not sure I can say the full name, rhymes with frog) just did an article about this today!

I too found they are not discounting Friday or Saturday nights with the 25% for everyone OR the Disney+ discount either. PLUS, I could not get a discount at The Contemporary, no matter what dates I used. Bummer! I switched to the Beach Club and saved $1200 over the Contemporary, never had stayed here, hope it's great! This is for Oct. 22 - 28th.

You can walk to Epcot and DHS for rope drop if you want.....a real advantage of that location.

.......and when you look across the water, your view is the entire Boardwalk area.....very nice at night.

If you have a Hulu subscription it’s only $2/month for D+

I have a standard room booked at the Yacht Club November 1-8th. I am AP(DVC) and D+. I cannot get any discounts applied to my room rate - I even tried calling but was told maybe rooms hadn't been loaded.
Can anyone help me figure out if I can get the discount applied

I just checked and there are no rooms available for that whole period, even at full price!

I did not get a discount for Friday and Saturday but received 35% for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at the YC for late October with Disney Plus

Same here. Was able to book 35% off (Disney Plus) at the BC for the last week of October but the Friday night was not discounted.

\o/ I saved a little over $1000 for our stay at the Fort Wilderness cabins 11/27-12/3.
The discount was exactly the same for both passholder and disney+ subscribers for our dates.

I'm not AP, but I can see D+. Nov 25 is not in the D+ offer. I checked Nov 26-Dec 3. There is a Contemporary main tower water view room for 689 per night. A few other rooms as well.

If the resort is sold out at rack rate, they have nothing to discount. They offer discounts to fill rooms, not to reward or save money for people who are already booked. Even when you have a room booked, you can only get the discount if there is a room available for a new booking with the discount. The YC is a convention hotel & hosts large conventions most of the fall. So there is often low inventory for the public to start with.

You can always keep checking but lets be real- your odds suck. That's F&W Marathon running into Jersey Week. That's not a busy time- it's a VERY busy time.

Not sure if we are talking same thing, but when I got my discount this morning, I was on hold too. While on hold I checked for discounts on 2BR villa at Saratoga and there were none shown. I had already booked and was prepared to switch to OKW as that was the only 2BR showing the GP rate savings. However when I told the CM my ressie number she was able to give me the discount even though on line showed no availability.

Already had a 2 bed standard view at SSR in early December. I managed to change it to a 2bed preferred with the AP discount. Saved close to $2k.

My vote is a quirk that availability literally popped in that second and the CM snagged it. Don’t think front line CMs have the ability to just apply a discount.
